Just a word for the humble Fiesta, which I believe is the UKs top selling small car (or was a year or two back). I have a Zetec and it is just right for me a the kids and economical to run.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

Can't disagree with most of what has been written.
If there is a better offer than what Citreon are offering on the C1/C2 then I am yet to see it.
I have said previously that small cars for many people ARE going to be the way to go. And at the moment there is so much choice.
Citroen C1/C2
Renault Twingo
Peugeot 107
Toyota Aygo
Hyundai i10
Good deals on ALL these cars [Ka, Fiat 500 etc a bit more expensive] and if people are being honest, ticks every box for people without families etc.0 -
I saw in Parkers brand new Ka's for under £5k due to new shape arrivign soon. May not be as good as Fiesta for those with kids as no back doors.
I would check safety ratings, I saw the Top Gear episode that crashed small cars and Citroen etc didn't come off to well, the Fiesta and Ka did really well. I think the classes for safety were 1, 2 and 3 with 3 being highest, and I now wouldn't touch less than a 3.Give yourself a Chistmas bonus £14 a week!
Total so far £280 -

Any of those are good, whether they be the Aygo or equivalent - if they have the manual gear box. The so called 'auto' box is horrendous.vickyjayne wrote: »i have had both a corsa and and c3 and i loved to both of them although the c3 had the edge for me as it was only £35 a year to tax and it was a 1.4 diesel was a manual though which i think would be better. quite a bit of room in the c3 and has a few child friendly featuresGenie

Hintza babes,It might be, I did think twice before adding 7 years, or is that just the Kia?
As for wanting an auto though I have got to that stage in life as well so I know where the OP is coming from but thankfully we need a bigger engine so don't suffer any noticeable drop in performance.
Edit:- Inactive you are quite correct

Aren't the parts really stupidly dear for Kia and Hyundai??Genie

Agree - great car. But OP is after an automatic... which is not so easy when looking at a small car, as they don't make them anymore! They only make a manual/auto which is - well, rubbish............ It's a 'green' thing... you will have noticed the need for going green lately, as it has been so darned hot and global warming is upon us.... :rolleyes:pandora205 wrote: »Just a word for the humble Fiesta, which I believe is the UKs top selling small car (or was a year or two back). No more expensive than most Jap or German parts, of course with a Hyundai or Kia, it seems that you are less likely to need them in most cases, with a 5 or even 7 year warranty.;)0 -
