  • Yes, I did, and then found it after posting here!

Even better is the Primus Penny Mobile Option 2 - this gives you 24/7 calls to mobiles for up to 20 minutes for only 20p! You can only get this by calling Primus as it doesn't seem to be available when you sign up online via Uswitch...

  • I have registered with both 18185 and 1899, and I am being charged 1p/min for landline calls + connection fee of 4p. My providor is NTL. I find these charges expensive as I can make international calls for the same price. Is there any alternative to bring costs down to just 4p/min connection, which is what they advertise?

Welcome to MSE and the Telephone Boards.

Both 1899 and 18185 websites show the costs for BT lines on the front pages, for cable/mobile customers you need to further check their websites. 1899 is here and 18185 is here.

    Hi
Can any of you help I have been trying to register with 18185. When I go on there site and click on sign up now to subscribe a page comes up and tells me how to use it but there is no where to do it. I am with A.O.L. Thanks.

When on the registration page try clicking your "enter button" and it should bring up the sign-in details page!!!

  • Hi
I am currently using 18866 prefix and want to change to using 18185. However the 18866 is a 'recurring' charge. How do I cancel this? Can't find any 'paperwork' to ring/write to anyone. Help.
    Thanks

What people tend to do is leave the 18866 account dormant in case they become cheapest again. They wont collect any money if you dont use it.
However if you go into your account they do give you the opportunity to close it online.

In case you were not aware 1899 is cheaper then 18866 and 18185 for 01/02 geo calls. 3p connection instead of 4p from BT Line.
    PF.
