    Well done!
  • Just received my letter yesterday from the FOS
    Dear.....

I am pleased to be able to let you know that following our intervention, WF has agreed to make an offer to you. I consider that the offer is in line with out guidance and appropriate given the curcumstances of your complaint. I am therefor writing to explain the terms of the offer.

It is important to understand that this offer is subject to you agreeing to the cancellation of the payment protection insurance policy (or policies) - if still in force. This will mean that all insurance cover provided by the policy will be lost.......it goes on about alternative insurance options and to check with the FSA.

The settlement of your complaint will be calculated by taking into account the type of PPI policy or policies you have - and whether or not there is still a loan in force. We have set out our typical approach to redress in a factsheet at the end of this letter.

WFSL's offer also includes £200 compensation for any distress and inconvenience you may have been caused and this is in my view appropriate given the circumstances of your complaint.

It then mentions about accepting the offer and signing the enclosed settlement form to them by 19th August.....and then that it might take up to 8 wks for them to pay out.....???

Was this a similar letter to the one you got?

Am about to sign the letter and send it back today am sooo excited. My husband has already spent the money tho lol between big tvs and trampoline for the boy he is more excited than my son hehe its going to be put in the bank for a rainy day might buy him his telly and the boy his trampoline but that is it! hi anybody got the address were i can send my letters for ppi missold refund
    cheers
  • Hey just phoned FSO and asked if that meant they are paying the full amount to me? He said unfortunately, they dont tell them FOS what they are giving me back they will send their calculations straight to me. So I am posting my acceptance letter today and when I receive WF's calculation if I put it on here would someone be able to check this for me just to make sure I am getting it all back? This is the first one I have actually won so dont know what to expect hehe.

Off now for 2wks so just going to go through the other cases I have with the FOS and see where I am then start chasing if need be!

For being off on hols I have lots to be doing!

Going to the Happy Castle today lol oh the joys!
