Starting a claim for PPI with Welcome Finance

I rang Welcome finance and the man stated clearly that my refund is for all 3 loans that i have had with them and that due to my loans being fully repaid that my case will be simple to resolve. And could mark me COULD be settled in a couple of weeks. I will just wait and see. I will beleive it when the cheque is cleared in the bank. But it seems that they are paying out straight away.

I ave just started the reclaim process with Welcome. letters were sent 22nd July this year. I wonder if they have had their knuckles rapped because they seem to be settling alot.

A lovely little letter and cheque arrived this morning from Welcome financial Services. For the 3 loans PPI. Wait for it a whopping £3163.20. Yes three thousand one hundred and sixty three pounds and twenty pence only.

Yippee thats my holiday spending money sorted out. I can now work less overtime and take things a little easier thanks to Welcome finance.

Thankyou all for your support and help in fighting welcome finance. There are too many names to mention but a special thank you goes to di3004 without your support at the start i would not have got this money back.

Right im off to put the cheque in the bank before they go bankrupt or they cancel the cheque.........

I'm still waiting to hear from Welcome but I'm guessing that because my loans are current I need to wait for them to send me new agreements before I'll get cheques!! The wait is killing me lol.

Nearly 3 weeks down, 5 to go!! Just hope they don't leave it til the last minute cos we go on holiday on the 31st of August and their 8 weeks is up on the 8th September...would like to have the cheque in the bank before I go!!!!!

Ahhh well, here's dreaming!!!

Welcome Finance website is no longer taking on new customers. Does anyone know what this means for those of us waiting out our '8 weeks' to have the PPI refunded? I am only on week 2?

Good luck with your reclaim.;)

For the ones who are already waiting, I don't think it makes any difference.
Countdown another 6 weeks to go then? lol hopefully though you will hear sooner, because WF seems to be settling and refunding direct the last few weeks, all the best with yours.;)

Well done Glenn, that is fantastic news! You are an inspiration to us all! I've just had a refund from Egg over their illegal PPI Insurance, but I just sent one letter and that was it, well done for keeping on and fighting to the end!! Fantastic, you should be so proud of yourself!:money:
