Not a great pic though is it. Camera flash is not only bouncing off my glasses - I'd meant to wear my contact lenses but discovered I'd forgotten to take one of them to work with me that day :rolleyes: - but it's even made my dress go see-through by bouncing off the embroidery on my white bra :rotfl: Plus, thanks to my wonderful boss making me finish something off when the rest of the office had all left for the party, I hadn't had time to put any makeup on (big mistake when you're as pale as I am) or put my hair up...

I don't normally get this self conscious about photos!

Next time I will be:
(a) not wearing black with no make-up
(b) wearing underwear that is the same colour as the outfit (I thought it was only dark under white that showed!)
(c) wearing industrial strength Bridget Jones style tummy control pants
(d) not posing for a photo with somebody better looking than me

Right, I've just read through all of the above and decided it's about time I stopped being so insecure and vain. So that's quite enough about me.

Oh BTW the dress was a total bargain - £12.99 from H&M about 4 years ago

I dont think you are being vein at all, must admit, if anyone gets near enough to me to take a photo (im normally the back of head person in photos!!!) i always take my glasses off, cos i think i look dreadfull in them!!! (mind you, in my lenses i always think i have big black bags under my eyes!!!) And good deal on the dress!! Cant go wrong with a LBD in your wardrobe!!!!

No wonder you look so shocked to see a camera. Get normal looking friends and you will feel far more elegant. LOL (Tears are rolling down my face and I'm sniggering so loud Mrs MATH has come upstair to investigate) Mrs MATH doesn't think you have anything to worry about except she thinks she once saw one of the men you are with on the local news with a blanket over his head:eek: (I knew that third rum and coke was a BIG mistake - it's making me naughty)LOL


Edit: It's just dawned on me that you may be quite fond of the people you were photographed with. I'm sure they are quite lovely really:o

My class was fine, didn't get the grilling I was expecting regarding homework. Seems I had read and remembered enough. I do need to get it down on paper though as it might well come up in the exam. Noooo...not more exams....:eek:

Bargain Rzl...believe me, I wish I was as slim as you! Really, I do. Haven't been as slim as you for about a decade. Giving up smoking was the final battle in my lifetime war against an expanding waistline. (Expansion won the war unfortunately, but better being "chunky" than being a smoker I suppose). I need to get to grips with my love handles once and for all...then I too will be able to acquire bargains in skinny shops like H&M once more...oh I am so jealous, deep sigh...

So this is what it's like on the daily thread at this time of night :rotfl:

All people in photo are lovely, though I don't know the men as well as the ladies. Orange lady 2nd from left is Colombian so tango is all (or mostly?) her natural skin tone. She is also the delightful individual who emailed me the photo :rolleyes: but is lovely really.

Pink lady second from right is utterly bonkers and one of the few people from work that I have anything in common with (bonkers-ness aside, there's the mutual love of classical music and the odd pint of real ale). Photo captures her quite well really

chardonnay - I hadn't noticed the luminous bra either, until after I'd already posted the pic for all to see

Bargain Rzl - I had a wee peek at your photo last night and obviously my state of mind was affected due to very little food in 48 hours (my body didn't know what was happening) but I completely looked at it wrong and managed to work out that you were the orange lady. Its difficult for me to work out from 5 people who the middle one is!

Anyway then this morning I read Math's post and of course I was like "Oh my god he's got the wrong person and he's totally slagged off Bargain"!!!

All I can say is I am a !!!! and you look fine in the photo!
