I decided to go into town this morning, I discovered the other day that one of the new pieces of scaffolding I bought had the wire burst through its casing. As I only bought it in November I thought it should last longer than that. Got it changed n problem, she did ask me how I washed it....by hand dear, like you told me when I bought it!!! changed no probs.
That took me two read throughs before it occured to mewhat it was. I was thinking about what type of scaffolding could possibly have wires running through it. I had visions of the outside of your house having scaffolding up the side of it with thick wires waving around :rotfl:

Best wishes to JackieO, terrible news for everyone involved.
I've made Veg soup this morning, carrots, swede, onions, leeks, & celery which I had for lunch, it was ok but nothing special but it was 0 WW points so its alright. Had that with a roll I baked the other day. Also made some more bread, put it in the loaf tin to prove and just before lunch thought 'Thats risen loads, I better get it in the oven quick!' then had lunch..... guess what happened.... of course it has risen too far over the side of the tin and down the side!! I've put it in the oven as we speak and its hanging down one side!!! I'm never gonna be on Masterchef at this rate lol! Still I'm sure once I've cut off the offending bits it will be fine and taste as good as ever. I sprinkled sunflower seeds on it too to give it a nutty taste. I've had some wonderful bread disaster from rolls you could build a house with to the best one.... made the dough, put it in the tin to prove, left it on sunny windowsill to while I took LO swimming came back and found a scene from The Blob! It was all down the windowsill all over the sink and a plant!!! If you look really closely theres still a little bit of dried dough where I can't quite clean but I don't tell anyone about that!
Dinner is Chilli made with mince base from the freezer. Cleaning is non-existant atm, LO is here on Tuesday & wednesday so I pretty much only do the necessary. Have got a load in WM needs migrating to TD and another load going on but thats about it os wise.
There was a Paddington story where he made something and it escaped from the vessel, your story reminded me of this,,,"Knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not putting it in a fruit salad"

JackieO
It occured to me earlier that I'd never walked to the docs, I've always caught the bus or gone in the car. So I looked it up on Google Maps to see if there was a quick route. I selected 'walking', got directions and off I went. Google sent me the long way round  Won't bother with that againI chose my own route back, it was much quicker.
I was supposed to have 1 test, for my thyroid. The nurse had loads of tubes lined up, I asked "what am I being tested for, exactly?", she reeled off a long list of stuff and stated that I'm having a full MOTShe even tested for bone something - I didn't know they could check bone stuff with blood. Blood test? Blood drainage, more like :rotfl:
2 of the boy piggies are asleep, I don't want to disturb them so I'll clean them out later.
So much for clearing up my card stuff - as I started going through it, I thought "oooh, that goes well what this, I'll just make one up to see......" and there's more mess now than when I started :rotfl:Bulletproof0 -
Jackieo I am so sorry to hear your news, that is so sad.
Been having a bit of a lazy day today, there was absolutely nothing in the paper jobwise so I was a bit gutted about that. I will have to visit the jobcentre plus website again tomorrow.
I've just found out that XH is having our daughter tomorrow night, now he can find out just how I cope with getting DD from I.T. club, then on to ballet, fed, bathed etc all within a 3 hour time frame
Took me a while to work out the 'scaffolding' too.0 -
