Sunnyday – our Amy sends special furry purrs to your Amy cat and says to leave monster dog alone!
Katholicos – very moved by your post and by Kazzaw’s. Yes, we should treasure those we love whilst we have them and remember to live in the moment.
Redruby - you are a star, hope you don’t bruise too badly after your generous donation, lol at thinking your luck had changed! Yes, I imagine you are very shaken up after your skid, thank goodness you are ok
Silvercharming – wow, what a surprise. Hope it turns out to be a very enjoyable time despite the very short notice!
Elona – yes, very good idea for your DH to retire before pension scheme changes.
Very frosty here first thing but by the time I set off for town and Mother's the frost had gone. I must have 3 or 4 brollies in my car boot but did I take one with me when I set off shopping? Did I heckers like, and it poured down, so there is now another one in the boot courtesy of Poundland!
I know you all have busy lives but take a couple of minutes to enjoy this video because, for all the worries and the sadness, it is indeed “A Wonderful World”

Twink no offence but if you are oS and MS wouldnt it be better and almost as easy to make your own "ragu" sauce. I have never used these - instead I used tinned chopped tomatoes, add my own dried mixed herbs. tomato puree(sometimes), onion and crushed garlic. To me the very idea of paying £1 and more for these has always seemed nonsensical. My version takes no time at all to do.
non taken Reverbe and i do make my own sauce but the weather has been horrendous here, at the moment they are using diggers and a tractor and cart to take away all the snow from around us, i have a 6ft high bank of snow near my car that the neighbours dug out as we had no snowplough up so as i had to take dgs to the diabetic clinic yesterday, an outing i wasnt looking forward to with the roads, we took the chance to pop into asda and i got the jars as a start to a stock i will keep in case of bad weather in the future as our shops quickly run out in this area0
