    I applied for a vanquis card last month i think and i still havent heard a thing from them, i tried ringing but only got an automated service, could this mean ive been declined?

    I applied for a vanquis card last month i think and i still havent heard a thing from them, i tried ringing but only got an automated service, could this mean ive been declined?


    I applied last month too got a we will be intouch soon at time of application(got a call 8 days later to say I'd been accepted) got card 9 days later. very good service

    I have had a Vanquis card for ages, started off with £1000. limit still got £1000 limit...whats going on...no increase for me....

    I'm still on £500 after 7 months now so maybe they just getting tight LOL well it will be 7 months on 29th so near enough I guess....

    I applied last month too and received a letter asking for proof of identity/address, which arrived on the 6th. I sent it back and now it's been over 2 weeks but I haven't heard a thing from them either - not even my bank statement has been returned. Is this normal? :confused:

    Should probably call them - there might just be a backlog or hearing nothing might be their way of refusing us :(

    I've already been rejected by the other sub-prime lenders (presumably because I've just turned 18 and that I'm currently earning only £6k~ until I start my new job) so Vanquis is my last chance, erk :undecided
