Well fingers crossed for you. What is your credit report like btw I cant remember ;p

I wouldnt mind an RBS credit card so I might give it some time and see if my internal score will be enough to swing it as I have ran my current account well for the last few years.
Would love to find out more about this internal scoring business. My accounts are all used well, regular credits, no bounced payments etc.
Can I find out what Natwest really think of me...not a chance
My credit report shows 3 very old defaults, approx 4-5 years ago,,, everything now is A1 in terms of payments etc. Dont miss anything :j

Will be nice if it does land.
Have heard that some lenders do tend to pay less attention to very old defaults so possibly the case, who knows.
My salary is credited to Natwest so whether that has helped in any way or not, also have an ever rising savings balance

I might apply for an RBS card in a few months and just see out of curiosity especially if you get yours. Be interesting to see which companies pay less attention to old defaults. Are your savings with Natwest?

I might be able to find out how they use internal scores next week as I will be speaking to colleagues who work in banking for RBS so they may have more of an idea.

Yep, all savings with Natwest in form of 3 different accounts, First reserve, e-savings and Cash-Plus ISA.
Some weeks I can earn a fortune on tips alone meaning that my wages lie untouched in current account too. Again no idea if it is of any benefit as regards internal scoring

Ah I was gonna say if its on horses then share the tips around if your earning that sort of money ;p

Its alright for some I have never had a tip in my life! You must be sound if you can make so much in tips. I always tip the drivers on lads days out and even more so if hes up for the laugh.
