Anyone got a freephone or standard rate number on which to call Vanquis to pay a bill?

Ever since getting a new card, I can't pay online so have to pay by phone. Usually wait til I'm at work to phone the higher rate numbers but a standard rate number would be good to have if anyone has it...the ones on saynoto0870 don't seem to work!

I had that problem after getting a new card, I figured out if you go to the website, don't log in, click on pay my card, it works. Think it's to do with the card registered to your account is now different than your initial registration.

you can pay from your bank if you want to do it online, that's what i changed to after I got a new card. details are on the website or your statement

The details were actually in the first link of a google search.

Over the Phone or Online:
Via your bank’s telephone or internet banking service, you can make a one off payment or set up a standing order.

Simply quote the following details:
(1) Our sort code: 60-95-94,
(2) Our bank account number: 0000 0001 and
(3) Your Vanquis 16 digit card account number.

Please allow 3-5 working days for your payment to reach your account via this method.

What I like about Vanquis is that if you don't have Evanquis, you can opt for a paper statement each month at no extra cost.

I use Nat West Bank to pay the paper statement and they have never charged me for the privilege.

Using the freephone number (see posts further up thread or Sayno to 0870) to check you balance or contact customer services is very handy.

A great little rebuilding card. Pay off your card in full each month and don't gamble or withdraw cash and in no time at all, it helps rebuild your confidence and better standing with other lenders.

I'm not sure that's much of a plus point.

Most credit card providers offer online access and paper statements for free.

It's a plus for me as I don't have a bank account

Does anyone know how to find out what my interest rate on my Vanquis card is? It doesn't appear to be on my statement and I can't find it anywhere on e-vanquis...

Log in to eVanquis.

Click on View statements on the left hand side of the screen.

Click on the Important Information tab.

Scroll down the to Statement Charges & Fees section to see your interest rate.
