My pin arrived yesterday! 2 days after the card so 11 days in total for both!

It has only been 8 days, you will have a few more days to go yet!

No sign of card yet, we are now on the 10th day lets hope it is posted through my door today

When I was accepted, after the chatter from the guy on the phone he put me through to an automated message saying "welcome" etc, and in the message it said 10-14 days to receive the card, and a further upto10 days to receive the pin!

    Patience is a virtue ;)

Good ole patience it is, called them today just to get an update

They confirmed application approved on the 18th Oct but to wait 14 days. So calculation would be the 3rd - 4th December at the latest but i bet it comes either tomorrow or Saturday.

God they must be busy due to christmas period or just dragging their heels.
  • Thats all the bankrupts being discharged and applying for a Vanquis lol :P

Me being one of them. Although, I am still waiting for 2 creditors to update my credit file then I will also be applying. I've never had a credit card before, its just to help rebuild my rating.

  • i should of known :).

Tbh it's really the wrong time to apply, the only reason I did was to build to credit history and by the post i received from them saying pre-approved!.

With 90% people not having alot of cash lying around more ppl will apply for short term credit over the xmas period, which in turn makes application and cards taking longer to process. reading on this thread that 95% of people receive their card within a week to 10 days i was hoping i was one of them.
  • Got my card today \o/ with a £500 limit, didn't expect that much.

Also interest rate is monthly purchase 2.839% and cash is 3.433%, what is the APR?
