If you were only offered £100 then you have a £150 limit, they usually take 8+ months to an increase ; ;

appears not. card came today with a £250 limit
• I got accepted for this card a few days ago, the guy I spoke to on the phone asked if I wanted a £200 cash advance to which I declined, im just thinking will that mean my limit is £250?

I got a £250 limit, applied a week or so after getting this card for a MBNA owned card, got instantly accepted with a £2000 limit!

Think I only got £250 with Vanquis as my score was too good for them, as I also got £1200 increase on my Littlewoods account last week!

Just to let you all know I now have my new credit card with Tesco, limit of £3,500. 19% APR. Very very happy to say the road back to normal credit is complete. I'll probably keep the vanquis one for a bit longer before closing it (I guess I see it a bit like a safety blanket!). Vanquis does work eventually :D

Sorry for reposting, but has anyone managed to find an 0800 or national number for these fellows yet?

Old one I used to use has stopped working now and I do not have a landline so calling 0845 costs 40p+ a minute.
Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
Said Diogenes, “Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.”
