Sorry for reposting, but has anyone managed to find an 0800 or national number for these fellows yet?

Old one I used to use has stopped working now and I do not have a landline so calling 0845 costs 40p+ a minute.

That's one good thing about TalkTalk. 0845 costs us nothing to phone :)

I used 0800 7816314 (option 2 it you're an existing customer) last week to contact them.

My online account is blocked. Apparently, they think my credit card number has made its way in to the wrong hands and they're sending me another card, but they're being a bit slow about it.

Coincidently the same thing happened to one of my other cards just after Christmas.

Oddly I only shop at big, well-established, companies such as Amazon, Play.com, Tesco, Asda, etc. So I wonder which of them has had their customer database snaffled.

Very strange - just tried this now and it worked.

For a period of a few weeks before the number had been disconnected.

    Thanks!
