Usually about 3 weeks but remember it takes a few days for your payment to be allocated to your account0

I just had a call from Vanquis but missed it. Wonder if it was another PPI call?? Maybe a limit increase call, do they do it that way, or is it always by letter?0

I get lots of sales calls from Vanquis trying to sell PPI and other schemes. Same with Aquacard.0

I give them the number that's only used to connect my Sky TV... they never get through0

Thanks very much for your help i intend doing it through evanquis but if i can wait 10 days after statement i can pay in full as opposed to a partial payment....so this timescale should be fine for me0 -
Out of Touch - It may be worth thinking about setting up a DD for the minimum amount every month. If you pay off the balance before it is due, they don't take anything but you at least have peace of mind that you can't miss any payments. I always pay mine in full each month but have a DD set up anyway for the minimum payment just in case.0

Errr this isn't quite true. It will always take the minimum, so yu have to remember to adjust any additional payments. Otherwise, sound advice.BCSC Member 70:j

I reached a £3000 credit limit with Vanquis that's over 2.5 years, thankfully got a good card with my bank halifax. Finally paid off Vanquis with a super balance transfer from my Clarity Card, Vanquis wouldn't do a normal balance transfer:eek: But got a good deal with Halifax's Clarity card under 8%apr. Could of had a 0% balance transfer but after 2 attempts it couldn't be done!0

Well I have set for full payment, and if I pay it in advance, they don't take anything. I wonder why minimum payment is different....0 -
To be fair I always pay mine in full, hence them never taking anything on DD. Maybe if I didn't pay in full then the DD would kick in and still take the minimum amount. Either way I personally still think it is good to have a DD set up for the minimum amount, if only as a safeguard against ever forgetting to pay on time. At least that way you don't need to worry about late fees.0
