    rule one its a provident company never believe them
    Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

So I was hoping there may have been something on my statement but there was nothing, not sure if getting online instead of paper statements would affect that???

    Hopefully I will still get a letter offering me an increase but I am now wondering if indeed it was connected in some way to the "offer" last month, or if paying in full each month is making them not consider me?

    The guy was talking out of his a**e. The agents don't have visibility over your account behavior scores / internal scoring / limit uplifts / etc.

    The process is 100% automated based on your account conduct and CAIS feed from Experian. They don't have "account reviews" as such. Their computer keeps a constant eye on your account and automatically pushes limit uplifts and letters as and when it feels fit.

    I'm still wondering if anyone with a Granite card has got a limit greater than £500..... !

    Izools, what is the CAIS feed? It rings a bell somewhere but can't remember what or where.

    Kyresa, mine is £250 which is what is what from opening the account in June 2011. So NO, not me!

    Simon, I wouldn't worry - I thought I'd been overlooked for a limit increase too but about a week after my 5th statement, I got a letter confirming they were doubling my limit from £500 to £1000.

    I've paid my statements in full every month, always using between 50% and 80% of available credit.

    I'm sure you'll get an increase soon!

    My limit is over £1,000, but I very rarely use the card. I'm probably not one of their best customers. :)

    Not true, my eldest sons gf works for Vanquis processing in bradford and she says advisors can see these things but they cannot issue them, the process of awarding them comes from feeds from call credit only (who knew that then?).

    If you need any info I am allowed to give you her username on here she said. Oh and she is an underwriting team leader as well if that helps, she deals with refusals and generally appeals. :money:

    Do you or have you work for them, if not why you lie like you do and say advisor talk from bottom?
