boooo, I mean, happy for you :rotfl:

How did you conduct your account?

Spent between £300 and £450 p/m (£500 limit) and paid off in full each month.

3 months down the line and they're doubling the limit, which makes the card a little more useful for me.
My Debt Free Diary I owe:
    July 16 £19700 Nov 16 £18002
    Aug 16 £19519 Dec 16 £17708
    Sep 16 £18780 Jan 17 £17082
    Oct 16 £17873
  • I have a limit of £250...

If I spent £250 in May, wait for my statement to be produced at the start of June, then spend another £250 does that put me over my limit?

You would need to repay the £250 before you can spend another £250.

Your transaction would also be declined. It's a total of £250 credit.

However, lets say you owe £240 on your statement today. You pay right now in full. The moment it credits to your account you can spend it again. So lets say the payment credits your account on the 1st June, and you spend £240 straight away. You could then pay in full again say on the 3rd June. the moment it hits your account you can spend it again if you wish to.
You could on a £250 limit spend in a region of one month upto about £5000.00 (5k) on a card with a £250 limit, without exceeding your £250 credit limit and paying no interest.

I'll soon be due statement two. I have already made around 8 or 9 payments to them. I use my card everywhere they are accepted. I've even used it for 9p. But I had my tesco clubcard vouchers, had £20 worth. Shopping was £20.09 paid £20 in vouchers and the balance of 9p on my credit card.
The reason I use it for everything. The money stays in the bank, and they can see I am paying off hundreds every month. I also NEVER use my card for cash withdrawals, I think that makes a person look desperate for cash.

Odd post considering it seems you already know the answer on how to run a vanquis account...
