if it's late you will be charged. Vanquis will say that you knew about the extra bank holidays and should of allowed for it. However as your paying by DD, if your charged you would have a case to ask for the £12 back I doubt you will be charged, due to the fact you pay by DD, if you pay by online banking, you would only have yourself to blame for not making the payment early enough to allow for the bank holidays.
TastyTeeth clearly refers to paying by Direct Debit so not sure why you are ranting at them about other payment methods.
To TastyTeeth, My payment by Vanquis was taken late one month and I rang them and was told "don't worry about it as it's by Direct Debit there is no problem and you won't be charged".

Yupyup. Although when I said 'hangon, this is PPI isn't it?' she said no. Then said 'well sort of'.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Obviously remembering that the call was being recorded she thought she should confess that it was PPI!:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

You can only hold 1 card with Vanquis so i think most people tend to stick with the card they first got accepted for otherwise it would mean closing 1 Vanquis CC and then applying for another.:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

Whats the difference with the granite card to the vanquis anyway ?The only real security that a man can have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience and ability.0

Whats the difference with the granite card to the vanquis anyway ?
The Vanquis card offers APR of 39%+
The Granite card offers APR of 29% +
The Aquis card offers APR of 19% +
It looks like they have tried to create 3 different credit card tiers - Not sure but im guessing the acceptance must be different for each card - People have been turned down for a Granite card but accepted 6 months later for a Vanquis card.:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21
