You'll be looking at at least £500.
My limits only £250 But like you I'm pleased to have a card again sign up to evanquis when you get the card, its free and cancel paper statements
Thanks for the advice - I will set up E-Vanquis as I'd prefer to manage my account online, They also said I could make payments at anytime if I wished via E-Vanquis which would again I would like as I would feel more in control of the account.:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

So anything else I should be doing to help my credit rating or is this enough for now? I currently have a contract mobile (£35 per month) reporting and Vanquis will follow shortly.:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

I'd be wary of signing up for evanquis.... They don't show you all the information on this service like they do on paper statements.
When I signed up for the service, I found it unreliable and kept booting me out, the login process was crap too.
But when I went back to paper statements I found that my interest rate had jumped up to 59%!!!! I don't carry a balance, but if I did, there is no way you'd know that they had done this as it doesn't tell you what APR you're on on evanquis, SO BE CAREFULOpinions are like bottoms - We all have one, just some stink more than others
Service Attributable Pension - War Pension - War Pensioners Unemployability Supplement - War Pensioners Invalidity Allowance - War Pensioners Comforts Allowance - War Pensioners Mobility Allowance - War Pensioners Child Allowance - Housing Benefit - Council Tax Benefit0 -

Nothing wrong with Evanquis. It's very detailed, updates daily, no issues with logging in, does not boot you out.

Perhaps you haven't used better online billing systems offered by other credit card companies.
As someone else has highlighted, eVanquis doesn't tell you your APR; it doesn't list pending transactions; and making a payment is difficult if you use a pop up web browser blocker.0 -
Is it worth applying to Vanquis even with a default on my file ?
I was declined last time i applied over a year ago when my credit was good, But was rejected.
However perhaps they can see i'm a high risk applicant who misses payments and could possibly get them alot of money through interest etc etc
Although i only want a credit limit of £200 so i can build up my history again.' You only live once ! Don't live to regret the past, But to enjoy the future '

I have a default and was accepted yesterday so well worth trying again for a card:):dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21

You just keep applying once every 6 months till you get there eventually0 -

Vanquis will give a credit card to virtually anyone who asks, so perhaps your credit wasn't as good as your thought. :rotfl:
You could try again, but I'm guessing the default is quite recent and will probably count against your application.0
