  • I feel part of the human race again! Just had another call from Vanquis and have been accepted after a few glitches earlier!!:j Was offered a cash advance which I declined but took out the payment protection - I couldn't bring myself to say no incase they withdrew the offer:o :rotfl:

    I feel part of the human race again! Just had another call from Vanquis and have been accepted after a few glitches earlier!!:j Was offered a cash advance which I declined but took out the payment protection - I couldn't bring myself to say no incase they withdrew the offer:o :rotfl:

    definatly cancel the ppi as if you need it you can get it cheaper elsewhere

    plus not accepting it isnt a reason to withdraw their offer of credit to you

    And a Vanquis customer shouldn't need PPI anyway because it's madness not to pay the full balance off each month.

    Cancel the PPI tomorrow. You don't need it.
    They have asked me 3 or 4 times. I just stand my ground and politely say no thanks.

    20% of your limit is the max cash advance your allowed per day, might be the same?

They offered me a £400 cash advance so I'm assuming my limit will be £500?! To be honest though I couldn't care if my limit was 50p just happy to have the chance to rebuild my credit. I have also set up a DD for the full amount each month.

    You'll be looking at at least £500.

    My limits only £250 But like you I'm pleased to have a card again sign up to evanquis when you get the card, its free and cancel paper statements
