Just in case anyone else is going to buy a hamper before Christmas, there is a code which gives you 250 extra Advantage card points.

This is for Flowers Plants and Hampers only :

It was a leaflet supplied with my order so is for general use.

Ordered a couple last Wednesday morning, still says processing order on website and no money taken. So was absolutely convinced that they would be cancelled. 20 minutes ago, hampers!!

Strange strange system.....

Will have to see if the ones that are due to a different address tomorrow will turn up as they are still processing too!!

Ordered 2 breakfast hampers at 11.26am last Wednesday and received email today saying

"Unfortunately, when your order reached the warehouse, the product was not available. As we can't guarantee when it will come
back into stock, we have had to cancel your order. You've not been charged."

Why has it took over a week to reply, I was banking on those hampers for pressies!!

If you order something online it shouldn't be a guessing exercise as to, when or if you will get your order.

I've ordered loads of stuff online over the years but this is the worst ever.

a/ customer service (eventually got through today to someone who was not at all nice and couldn't give me any info on delivery until she checked with the warehouse, which she "wouldn't be able to do that today." :-X

b/ no apparent awareness of what their stock levels are.(even when they are putting them up for sale on the website it would appear..) :-X

c/ no updating of order details on website for order tracking :-X

d/ pot luck if you get your order and that's just not acceptable. :-X

e/ they cancelled an order with me because "it went out of stock in our warehouse", even though they are over 100 for sale on the website and the order is still showing as being processed on website, and still arriving according to the operator today.

I live in Essex,ordered weds, 14.15 order confirmed,received 2 breakfast hampers today awaiting 1 celebration,received one box of two.

I spoke to Boots at length yesterday and they really have no idea what is happening anywhere!

Even though I made an order over a week ago they said it's proberbly been cancelled but they can't tell me for sure.

They might offer me some reward points as compensation. How many were others offered?

After a week of waiting for some info from Boots (no email replies, order apparently still being processed)
my large hamper and fibre optic tree have just arrived ;D!

Ps, according to my visa, all monies taken from my account 7 days ago, so if the small hampers dont show, can I demand some sort of compensation?
