[CLOSED] - 13/12/04 : Boots Hampers

I ordered 3 breakfast hampers. Delivery date was meant to be today but nothing so far. Order is still "being processed". Got fed up calling customer services as just sit on hold for hours at a time. No reply to my email query.

Hope I havent got to shopping at the weekend.

Would have been nice to be told they were out of stock - now got to find other chrsitmas presents!

Did get the points and a £5 off £10 voucher so not all bad

Other thing though is that the trees say for outdoor use only on them and I wanted them for indoor use!!! it said it was for both on th website !! :-/

order arrived.no breakfast hamper,one of the 3 for 2 offers only,no paperwork and really badly packed.makeup thrown in next to a pestle and mortar so all scratched.
really angry.cant get through on phone so have sent stinking email.
I only ordered 1 hamper!the other 3 4 2 stuff(yoga mat,wojk) is still on the website.
they did give the full discount and full points (on a £40 order) but i'm upset and puzzled. >:( ???

Thats quite suprising!!!!

My 2 Breakie hampers were amazingly well packaged both were individually boxed in loads of bubble wrap then placed in another box that would have fitted about 10 of the hampers and packed-out with what looked like mini-lilos.

There was toooooo much packaging ;D

I've got mine up on the window sill - indoors. I've had to disguise the wiring because it's so bulky and black, but apart from that it looks lovely.

Are you sure that isn't just a guide to let you know it can be used outdoors?

It does say on the instructions that the base gets very hot and not to use in a confined space. :-/

I have two littleuns and I'm a bit worried about it now (haven't opened it as will likely return it. Wanted to put it on the floor really as well and didn't want to start a fire !!

On all the documentation it only refers to outdoor use, even on the invoice from Boots. :-/

If you've not got any paperwork and only half the order, the chances are you're due another box. Check to see if it says 1 of 2 on the packaging. The same thing happened to me and I got the second box the day after (today).

If you look on Boors website, they say that this quite often happens and the documentation will allways be in the second box. Hope this helps!

Thanks for that - I'll look through the packaging.

Can't find the invoice just yet but still waiting for another delivery. I can find loads of bumph for eye tests and flower deliveries though ;D

Btw, I'm taking it all seriously - especially as it might overheat. Have to say though that I've just felt under the base and it's cool but the side's warm compared to my other tree so I'll switch it off for now.

I ordered 5 Breakfast Hampers, 2 were delivered on Monday....no paperwork and since then not heard anything.....3 more might arrive but I am starting to doubt that :-/
