Some seem to be getting through, I got my Christmas hamper (not the breakfast one, the other one) yesterday. Might have been lucky because the sticker on the box says it came from Inglewhite, which is not far away from where I live :-)

Hope everyone else manages to get theirs sorted out.
  • Ordered 2 X Christmas hampers and a 6 ft chrismas tree, got the tree but the hampers were unavailable. I did however get 10% discount for the whole order, free postage, a £5 voucher and triple points so the tree cost 58p - not bad fron £45.00

Did any one check the sell buy dates on the items in the celebration hamper. looked at a couple of items ( kettle Crisps & Coriander biscuits and they were sell by January. I guess this is why they were cheep but may be they should have pointed this out on the site.

  • Opened one of the celebration hampers last night.

    Disappointed really.

Nothing wrong with it, but not unlike something I would put together for my daughter's harvest festival!

    Ok basket
    Ok wine
Big bag of crisps (at front of hamper so it's the first thig you see and blocking out other things)
    Packaging ok but not brill.

Not complaining about it for £20.00 but if I'd paid any more than that I would be really annoyed.

Decided not going to give it as a present - I doubt that their faces would light up when they opened it.

Rang them today to chase delivery which was due today. 12 mins & 14 secs before getting through to a real person. 26 mins later with the equivalent of a corporate shrug and f*ck off. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Was told that my order was cancelled :o~ when I asked them when this happened and why they hadn't sent me an email, I was told that there was a mix up at the warehouse... Because their lack of investment in an order management system is suddenly my problem??? This has to be the worst example of customer service I have experienced in a long, long time.

Not happy at all with an offer of 'points' with less than a week to go before sorting out 5 presents. They promised to get a customer sevices mgr to call me back. Still waiting.

Made the guy email me the below details & pending their response, will be taking this up.

  • When I tried  to use this £5.00 discount code they gave me for cancelling my order it comes up as a discount of £1.00 instead of the £5.00.

Just when you think BOOTS can't get any worse...  :)
I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

No one puts baby in the corner.
  • Woke up to get the cancellation email...

I'm sorry to inform you that we can't deliver the item you ordered from boots.com (order number xxxxxxx).

Unfortunately, when your order reached the warehouse, the product was not available. As we can't guarantee when it will come
back into stock, we have had to cancel your order. You've not been charged.

Well, they lie, money was taken from my bank 8 days ago!
Now I've got to get 3 replacement presents, and I'm currently housebound! They have really left me in the s**t. :'(
    ...the north will rise again...
