just as Sue said, very american term, in the good old days it would have been Managing Director. Problem is no way will you get to talk to these guys they hide behind their army of staff. Best bet might be to try and talk to the Human Resources Director, but try and ring the head office general switch board number not the call center.
I have better ways. you google the company and find its CEO. In this case I think its a guy called martin Beaumont and write to him at the head office marking the letter private and confidential.
Other ways are to phone up and say "is martin there?" operator says "martin who" You say " martin Beaumont of course. this is xxxxxxxx his next door neighbour now can you put me through to him please" ( You dont have to be his neighbour you could say you were is gfolfing partner or similar)
i one got to the highest sales director of a very large bank like that. at first he was miffed i had lied to get to him but then he admired the fact i had got past the defences
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

    Hi guys

    I am really pssed off

The interest rates dropping again, so virtually forcing us to live on capital. Who the fk is benefiting? This government sucks more than old Labour and they nearly crippled the UK.

I got the all clear on my DEXA test.

So far still OK living here but no decent houses to rent - some I wouldn't put a wild cat in.

    Hugs to who needs them

I was so positive and upbeat this morning. The sun was shining, I took all of my 6 dogs for a walk (3 at a time!), carried out household chores, ran a few errands and felt glad that I am getting my drinking under control (ive vowed to only drink at weekends).

Now Im so upset and angry that ive opened a bottle of red that I was saving for the weekend. I needed something to calm me down.

In a nutshell, my daughters work at weekends for a local shop who stay open until 8.00pm. They are both at Uni and college. A few Saturdays ago my youngest was there with 2 other members of staff and a chap who used to work at that branch came in. (He works at another store and is manager there.) He was drunk and made a nuisance of himself. The lady in charge kept telling him to leave and he ignored her. He sexually harrassed my daughter whilst he was there (she had to hit him to tell him to leave her alone! He tried to kiss her, lifted her shirt and followed her around making suggestive remarks.)

My daughter was really upset but just wanted to forget about it all. However, the lady in charge reported his behaviour although she hadn't seen how he behaved towards my daughter.

The head office investigated it and spoke to my daughter (she was very reluctant to talk to strangers about such an embarrassing subject). Today we have found out that he hasn't been sacked. To tell you the truth we don't care one way or the other whether he has or not. However, he has been told that he is allowed back in the store where my daughter works. He lives quite near this store and so he is bound to go in at some point. She has been so distraught and upset about this and I have had to collect her from college today. She is terrified that he will turn up while she is working there. I personally don't think he would dare show his face because everyone there knows what he has done (they might not know the whole story but they get the gist). But this doesn't stop her being worried that he may turn up again.

It seems that even in this day and age that men can behave as inappropriately as they like at work and there will be no consequence. I have worked at 3 different organisations and in 2 out of those 3 I was aware of sexual harrassment going on. In the first case, I left the organisation and don't know what happened but in the 2nd case the manager in question (he was harrassing half a dozen women!) was just moved to another branch!

These poor men just can't help themselves - its the women that entice them obviously.

    Name and shame!!!!!

It would be the last time they did it if they did it to me.

    Hi guys!hello.gif

Welcome to Fur-riday.sport-smiley-001.gif It's a shame I can only do that in a ''virtual'' manner!rolleyes.gif Hoping we're all well, guys. Lazy Tiffy - I haven't even read back through the thread yet.eusa_naughty.gif
Pssst...I sneaked out yesterday and went to the sheep shearers!speechless-smiley-040.gif Well it was either that or the poodle parlour - and you know that wasn't going to happen!biggrin.gif Yes guys, I felt the need to help the moulting process along a bit. This was prompted by the fact that I couldn't see where I was going and that I was sick of looking like the 'Before' of a hairspray advert!ktunga.giflaughing-smiley-014.gif They were lovely to me, (something to do with my claws maybe?confused-smiley-013.gif), and the Tiffster has been shaped and shorn and I am now 4 inches shorter all over. I was even brave enough to have some highlights put in too!1.gif Except they weren't really highlights because I'm a naturally light blonde, as anyone who survived the Great Tiff Photo Trauma of 2007, speechless-smiley-040.gif, may remember. Suffice it to say that someone, (think it was sazzy!biggrin.gif), had the bright idea of posting our photos on the thread so we could all see who we were all talking about - I mean - to! We don't like to talk about it.icon_pale.gif Some people are still in therapy and I was barred from posting my photo anywhere on the the interwebs before the watershed.
Anyhoo, they said they'd find it hard to put any blonde highlights in as a contrast without me ending up looking like an albino.waiting.gif Well due to my sleep patterns recently, my eyes are ruddy well pink enough for it!sFun_mornincoffee.gif So instead they put in some subtle lowlights using a very gentle shade of mocha which really highlighted my natural blonde colour. I was proud of the fact that I'd sat somewhere for nearly 2 hours in public without there being any fatalities. I was very pleased with the cut and colour and it did look nice once they'd finished.wink_kiss.gif
But of course, with it being me, the glossy fur effect only lasted for just as long as it took the till drawer to shut with my payment as I went through the door!person-smiley-9822.gif
I've been through the sheep dip already this morning and tried to at least get some of my hair to go in the same direction, rolleyes.gif, as I have to go into town today for a hot date. Which translates as, 'I'm going to lie in wait for some innocent gentleman to test a product in the ''Lynx effect'' aisle at Asda, and then pounce on him to prove that it really does work!'wink.giflaughing-smiley-014.gif
Thank you for indulging my daftness when there's other more serious replies that I want to post. I've had appointments coming out of my ears this week and I want to be able to give some time to proper replies. And I haven't even started my writing yet - I estimate there are 5 pieces to do at least and not much time left!shock.gif Plus I've got an appointment with my cpn this afternoon...poor unsuspecting soul.biggrin.gif
Hopefully reading about my life, will be making someone out there feel better about theirs!wink.gif
I will try and get back later with some proper posting. Thinking of you all guys - be kind to yourself.sLo_hug2.gif
    Much Love,
    Tiff xxx
