daniel has returned home safe and sound, and we have had a talk, and he shed some tears, and i think he is genuinly sorry for what he has done, or at least sorry he has been found out, time will tell. he has only stolen from myself and his brother, the games joshua now has back, the things he has stolen from me, which have been destroyed will be paid back a set amount each week from his allowance.
thanks for allowing me to share when needed
off to make tea now
hugs all

Hi shaz
I worked in a special needs school for a while, wiht kids with anything from downs syndrome, autism, adhd etc, so I can understand what you mean about when they get angry, unfortunately they do tend to just lash out.
Having pulled disappearing acts like this myself, he will come home. He'll most probably walk around angry for a bit, go find somewhere to calm down, wait til it gets dark, get scared and then come home - well at least thats what I used to do.
As ab says, when he comes home, sit him down and try and talk, does he have a favourite meal, or drink that you could give him while he's talking - just as a pacifying tool so that he doesnt lash out at you.
Ask him why he's angry first before you ask about the other stuff.
I don't know if I am barking totally up the wrong tree with my advice
xxxx
he was angry at being found out, and lashed out because of it, least he's calm now, thanks for listening, off to make his fav tea now, after he has opened up and told truth. what normal teenager asks for salad and jacket spuds? lol, least its easy for me
hugs

Hi Everyone,
As the top title says Keith Chegwin is coming to Exeter to help freeview give away 100 freeview boxes to lucky people who bring their old VCR in Exchange.I am going down on that day to meet him in person and cant wait.I have to get up early that day and go early as it takes an hour to get to Exeter from Teignmouth,Never thought I would see him but I am,will regret it if I dont and I will be armed with my autograph book to get his signature on itI am so excited.I had a good day,had Fish and Chips for dinner and then went to see my friend at one hospital to find out she had been moved to another so had to go back to the same town again but I saw my friend and she is progressing well,Tonight I am going to watch some tv and read my newspapers and magazines.

I know what you mean about not letting yourself cry, Rosepink. When Im like that Im just the same. I know if I start crying that I just won't stop.
I agree with AB and Mezer, Shazrobo. I hope you can sort this out and that he comes home soon in a calmer mood and none the worse for wear. It must be so difficult with you dealing with this on your own.
Hugs for everyone. Im having a nice glass of red at the moment whilst I wait for my tea to be ready. (It would have been ready half an hour ago but the box of rice that I thought was a full box in the cupboard was actually empty! Why do people put an empty box back in the cupboard because they can't be bothered to throw it away!!!:D )
Come on Tiff - pictures please!!!:p0 -
Tiff do send us your pictures please as they make me smile

I've had a good sleep and am now waiting for DH to come home. He left for work at 5:45 today! He phoned to say he's picking up fish and chips for tea.
I feel even worse than earlier! Th flylady thread has been exchanging stories on recent suicide in their families and I wrote a post trying to explain it from the POV of a depressd person, having been at the point of suicide many times. It's just too painful to think about it anymore."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

DH is home now, we've had our fish and chips and he's in the bath. He was out for over 12 hours today as was working in Kent which is a heck of a long way from here!
I feel a bit calmer. Am going to really try to relax tomorrow and get th place nice as have some visitors coming on Sunday. Can't wait to see them! Going to watch QI now! I love that show, and Emma Thompson is on it tonight and Stephen Fry and Alan Davies!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I thought it read that DH was having his fish supper IN the bath:D
Good to read you feel calmer, ew I hate getting the place straight for visitors:( but it is nice when it's done and you feel all proud of a lovely home.
It could be the cold but a normal thing for me is one day good, one day tired. I had two good days in a row and had bad day payback today. It didn't help waking twice in the night, once after a horrible nightmare - it was really horrible:eek:An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
