Flames in the Garden of Eden
Heaven in pieces at my feet
    I faced the raging ruins
    Of a million sleepless nights
I need to rest my weary head
    On your resurrection bed.

Morning all, hope you are all well as can be.

I always find that first thing when I wake up I'm really down, then slowly the brain kicks into gear and starts to question why and remind me of the good things in life. Does anyone else feel like this first thing or what time of the day is worst for you.

On the same theme are weekends harder or easier to cope with.

Going for lunch today to some friends who we haven't seen for over a year, I'm a bit apprehensive but I'm sure once we get there I'll be ok.

    Take care Sssssss.

can you smell the flowers again ;) , I remember when I gave up my sense of smell came back and was amazing. But the worst was smelling the stale smoke on other people and their cloths. Do you put aside the money you used to spend on smoking for something nice?

Sssssss, I don't like mornings really. Usually my heart is beating fast and Im trying to get DD2 to hurry up and get dressed so that she doesn't miss her bus! This is worse if there are also places I need to be.

Weekends are nice because I can lie in and get up when Im ready and my OH is at home so everything doesn't fall on my shoulders.

Nice and sunny here today so I'll take the dogs for a nice walk in a bit. Then we're having a nice Sunday roast.

exactly!, may be you can explain to my son that weekends, well at least sunday we should have a lie in, he is up at 7am no matter what day of the week.

I feel poorly :( I have a cold, sore throat and cough. On top of that the pharmacy doesn't have my medication so I have had to go without :( My Dad took my prescription to Tesco on Fri and when he picked it up later on they only had 1 item, the other is on a delay. Anyway, that doesn't help me as I've no medication :( I won't say too much as I don't want my post deleted but as most of you know it isn't very pleasant when you stop taking medication suddenly :(

I will try to reply to others a bit later

    on the bright side.
Lack of meds does allow you to see how much you really need them and probably allows you to think with a clearer head
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

    Hi all

Quick hello, just wanted to share that baby who has no name yet :D was born on Friday at 3.28pm, weighing 9lb 5oz after a quick two hour labour.

It was a hospital birth in the end but fortunately not induced :j as I started having irregular contractions myself that morning:T:T:T 17 days late - he certainly kept us waiting!

    Hugs to everyone
