I would just like to thank everyone for their continued support - especially with my relationship with Sam.

It means alot to me to have such great friends. I know that sometimes I don't always reply to people directly. That's mostly because I'm sometimes not very good at advice, but I am, however, good at hugs. :D

Anyway. Just spoken to my friend Kitty and she's like "Omgz Sam is so excited" . Haha! Sam and I played UNO online this morning too....and I beat him twice. :rotfl:

I also have a headache...I knew those two Bacardi Breezers were a bad idea. I never usually drink alcohol but thought I'd treat myself. :rotfl:

In other news, I'm meeting my friend's boyfriend on Tuesday hopefully. Then need to see Janette too.

Sam's mum and dad have even bought a new bed for me. :=O I was so shocked. They relly don't need to do all of this. I would be happy sleeping on the floor as long as I'm not here

Threats again! your posting about it too

it's not a threat it's the only solution I can see to this problem

I had to post on here as you have your pm's turned off, I would have preferred to do it that way :)

but despite me asking nicely that we draw a line under things you've come straight back at me in the thread and not via the correct channels

sorry folks but unless peebody would like to take this to pm I'll refer it to abuse :)

  • Hi all.
just got back from a lovely weekend up in the midlands. i even braved a trip into Tiff country but couldnt find those damn smarties. Sorry to see WVW needs time out and people are leaving or threatening to leave. People move on but also the thread is what those that post make it so if it isnt going your way its time to post more not less.
LM has your pressie arrived yet?

This thread is here for support only, so it's ok to say 'I suffer with depression' but not to discuss the condition :)
Saying 'I suffer with depression' is not really supportive is it. getting a few virtual hugs from someone you have never met isnt really supportive either.
Support comes from discussion and helpful hints and tips just the same as on other areas of the site. There is no need to discuss dosages of medication but experiences and education plus any new discoveries is supportive.
If the mods are insistent about the nature of the thread the word "support" should be dropped

Martin has set up a whole board for discussion of MSE policies HERE
this thread is not the place so further off topic posts will be removed/reported

    Hello Glad,
I would be ever so grateful if you could point out which one of my posts on here has been off topic, because as you suggest above 'further posts' which I take to mean I have already posted off topic.

Thank you ever so much in advance :)

Oh and before you tell me I should have PM'd you, I'm just replying to you here in public as you yourself decided to do so and not have the courtesy to PM.

    All the best.

    absolute rubbish
but I'll quote your post so you don't feel left out

now now Glad that's not very supporting of you is it, and as a board guide you really need to lead by example so how abouts we all kiss and make up :p
  • Whoa! what happened to this thread :( I can understand the no talking about medication but if you can't talk about anything that might relate to the actual condition then this thread serves no purpose. Saying I'm tired even breaks the rules :(

The thread title implies that you can get support for mental health problems but if that is not what it's for perhaps a BG could choose a more suitable title, maybe general chit-chat thread.

Sssssss - just wanted to say we get a new thread about every 1000 posts, and afaik this is pretty standard for most ongoing threads on MSE if I understand rightly, which is why we have a new thread.

    check this out

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1011759&page=162

#3233 posts and still going strong

so let's not fool ourselves people.
  • I've just read a thread on thyroid problems (same board), from the very first page medication is mentioned, doses e.t.c and how the condition affects people. It seems that there are in fact different rules depending on the subject matter. I've no problem with the no medication rule but at leas adhere to it on all threads and not just single out 'mental health'

RBK - I agree with you. I think things need to be managed with sensitivity, respect and common sense. I hope that can be achieved.
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
