  • Good Morning everyone ,
rather wet 'n'windy here in North Kent at the moment .Had a good night at college last night, even though the rain was hammering down.Today I have some Leek & Tattie soup to bottle up for the freezer, and I must fly over to the shops to buy a couple of cakes for this afternoons craft class. I shall be making my DGS Jack's 9th birthday card this afternoonand my friend says she has some 'Simpson' bits that she is bringing in for me.
After that I must go to the library to pick up some books that have been on order for my Uni course .This week I start my last big essay and its about the 'Workhouse'Think I'll have some salmon for dinner tonight as there is one piece left in the freezer.I'm still trying to work my freezer down so I can defrost it .I can't believe how much stuff I keep coming across in there that I had forgotten about. I have a small pile of ironing that should be done but I may save that for tomorrow as there's nothing really important that needs doing. Hope everyone has a good day even though its a wet and windy one round here. <<hugs to those in need>> Soon be springtime and we'll all feel a bit better then .It's been a very long winter this year.
    take care everyone

    Morning all :hello:

Brrrr I am a freezing mudgekin this morning. Scotrail excelled themselves and I stood waiting for 50 mins for my train this morning, something about broken raid at Glasgow and engineering works overrunning at Perth  End result is a mudgekin who needs a blowtorch to thaw out.

Anyhow ((((hugs)))) to all the poorly ones, the ones feeling down and the ones who just want a hug

I wonder if we have another OS baby yet from r-mac

Halight, I wish I had been ta yours for dinner, I adore pheasant ;)

Nessie the weather in glasgow is bitterly cold but it looks like it may be a nice day, least whan dawn was breaking as I was walking down the road it seemed lovely.

I hope all you lovely friends in the south are ok with the approaching storms  You seem to have had it reallt rough weather wise of late

Dinner tonight will be corned beef and hash, I may make a carrot cake as I have a load of carrots and may even make some carrot and squash soup to freeze. I would love a yummy pudding but really DH and I are starting to put on a bit more weight that we should be what with stopping smoking and discovering all the yummy OS puds. between Thriftlady's chocolate pud and Twinks hob nobs:eek:  DH asked why I hadn't discovered the OS board a long time ago:rolleyes:

    Have a glorious day all

wet here although DH says that on his milkround there is at least 5 " of snow in the countryside. DS2s college bus didn't turn up - it has to come from high up in the hills so we are hoping the later one arrives.

Mrs_Mix - good luck at the dentist, hope the only painful bit is the bill!;)

Diva - (((hugs))) to Tristan x

    Morining again,

Just back from the school run and    , went the normal way and one road was completly flooded, had to go through it as there was a load of traffic behind, so came home another way  and had to go through three flooded roads, its not good, and the clouds are full of rain again, will have to think of another route to collect dd tonight. It seems madness that we have so many floods and the poor aussies have such bad fires, am thinking of those poor people.

Squiggly thanks for the kind thoughts re nephew, there is a new KK bag in our mr T :D , darker blue with roses on, do you have it ???

Mrs Mix good luck at the dentist xx

Better get on and get the rubbish out before the heavens open again
