  • Hi All

Nice bright sunny day today in Newtownards (just outside belfast) although Im thinking its probably pretty cold out there.

Havent had a chance to catch up properly but will do later.

Have managed to achieve quite a lot so far today (well in comparision to what I had been doing!)

So far WM has been on, kitchen has been cleaned........properly cleaned! Have even managed to shine our stainless steel extractor fan (something I always forget to do!) Windows have been washed, well inside, am too short to reach them from outside! I have 'de-fluffed' our sofas which seemed to take me forever to do, polished and am now just about to hoover. Then need to clean the hall floor and that will at least be downstairs sorted!

DH and I were talking about Valentines day last night, tbh we usually dont bother but he came up with a plan that we each had to spend £4.86 (to the penny) on each other! Apparently it was the first number that came into his head! Really need to get my thinking cap on! All suggestions greatly received!

Hope you are all having a nice day

    Linz xoxox

  • Big HELLO Everyone!

It's so, so long since I posted on this thread, that you've probably all forgotten me! I still try to pop in & have a read from time to time, but life hasn't been going the way I planned for a while now.
I've still not managed to get PG and be able to stop working, or work P/T, and really concentrate on living O/S. We did have a successful ICSI treatment in November, but I miscarried at the beginning of Jan, and TBH have been pretty down & depressed since then.

But enough of that - I am trying to have a more positive outlook on life, and as part of that whole thing I'm gonna try to read & post daily, if you'll have me please???

It's been a cold but bright day here. I'm looking forward to getting home & finishing off the tea (a kind of Shepherd's pie with lamb mince, pearl barley & grated veg which has been cooking in the SC all day - I'm going to top it with a sort of 'bubble & squeak mash' of left over spuds & veggies from Sunday lunch!). Gotto be done quickly as I have to go to a meeting at 8.00 and I've not prepared the paperwork I need yet!

Looking forward to getting to know you all (or getting to know you again in some cases!).
