I think maybe the OP is worried that the DWP will say thatn they lived together (as she is pregnant by the same person) and that therefore wasn't entitled to her past benefits.

Icouldcry I would just be honest and say it was a one-off accident over the new year. If you were not living with him then they have no reason to think you were.

Do try not to worry (easier said than done, I know), but my advice is to just tell them the truth asap and then you will not have to worry about it.

    Good luck!

i agree explain the situation even if he is paying only £5.00 at least he is paying something i think they will make him pay for this one but only what he can afford don't make yourself ill if you are deciding on keeping the baby,as stress is the last thing you need, surely your not the only one this has happened to so don't worry when you let the DHSS know your pregnant they will ask about the babies father explain it was a mistake & one off.
you should be fine take one day at a time hun. x

Just wanted to add, not to worry.
When I claimed IS in October they didnt do the usual CSA thing, they just got somoene to phone me to 'discuss' my options, I was all geared up to tell them as much info about DS father as I could but they didnt even ask, I was quite peeved actually, so seems like things have changed.
Oh BTW, come and join us on the pregnancy thread, if you havent already :D

what do i have to do from her regarding income support, when do i tell them and are they going to belive that this WAS a one off. yes i know it was stupid and before anyone says anything i did use protection but it split :(, he has already made it quiet clear that its my choice and he does not want to be with me :( (he will be being named on birth certificate if he will come with me )

Why on earth didn't you use the morning after pill if it was a one off failure of contraception? . You have I believe 48 hours to track down a chemist or an A&E department. And I would consider sueing Durex or whoever for supplying faulty goods.

    Totally baffles me.

Yes of course it matters. The OP has no way of supporting this 'little accident'.

I am baffled as to how she could even consider having sex with the father of her child when he has absolutely no interest in the result of their 'love'. Where on earth is the attraction?
