Yesterday we got some good ys bargains, first in Mr T we got 3 strawberry cheesecakes for 25p, and three Gu puddings for 75p, then in Scumerfield
we got strawberries for 40p, and five ready made sandwiches for OH lunch for 20p each, which are now in the freezer, oh and a pot of cream for 20p :T , I never normally get any ys so I was very pleased.
Pork chops for tea tonight, will do with either roasties or mash and veg. I also need to do some baking, cookies and cakes, and do an online shop, as well as the normal tidy through and washing, and this is my day off  .

Morning peeps
Cold here this morning. We had a couple of inches of the white stuff in the night but it wasn`t as bad as expected. I nipped out at halfpast four with a soft bristled brush to sweep the snow off the car and then got the good old ice scraper out and tackled the windows. The stiff bristled brush did away with the new snow on the driveway so i was able to get out onto the road ok.
This has taken me 40 minutes to type as i`m at w*rk and keep getting pulled away for other things so i think that i`d better just send ((((HUGS)))) to you all and get on with my w*rk. Hope to see you all later.
Keep safe and warm guys.

Morning friends
Woke up this morning to snow everywhere so DH took me to work, he hates me walking on really bad ice or snow now in case I fall, who was I dto complain, a lovely warm cat vs 2 trains and half a mile walk:j
(((hugs))) to all that need and a special mention to Tristan, I quickly read what was happening over the weekend and Im delighted to hear he is home.
Food at the weekend was simple, egg, chips and beans for tea on Saturday, I so love that, simple, tasty and takes me back to my childhood as we always had that on a Saturday night.
Sunday tea was a lamb tagine with aubergine and squash and couscous and thriftlady's chocolate pudding.
Hmm..I hit submit too soon, maybe it is trying to tell me to shup up
I hope everyone has a lovely day and I hope all who are poorly or fed up or just need a hug feel better soon.
PS I had to join that twitter also..as mudgekin0 -
Good morning everyone.
It's dry and not realy that cold today.
We had some light snowfall overnight but the house felt so warm I had to open the windows.Odd realy.
I just have my usual house clean today and a pile of laundry to do.
Almo,I'm so sorry you've been upset. There are some realy nasty people who seem to just love causing trouble.I would'nt let them get you down they're realy not worth it.
Let's hope everyone has a good day and the weather does'nt play up too much for us all.
Take care everyone.........0 -
Morning
We had a bit more snow in the night, hubby left to catch the bus(he has a motorbike but not risking it in this weather) for work before i'd got up.
Just packed daughter off to school.
Not too many plans for today, just the usual tidying and stuff. Need to pop to the post office at some point and to the chemist to get hubby's g/f bread.
Just put the chicken carcass on to make stock, using it to make the gravy for tonights chicken casserole0 -
i hate to saay it but i am doing badly on the OS front at the moment, which is made doubly bad by the fact that i am trying to save for a house....
gto a tin of soup in my drawer at work for lunch, but am at the moment being lured by the thought of roast pork sandwiches from the local sarni shop!!!!
