Use a visa electron then it will be free0

Welcome to MSE.
Of course its legal, its not a stealth payment, no money is taken from your account before you have the opportunity to review the breakdown of the fare and all the charges incurred, it is then up to you, or your wife, to purchase the tickets at that price if you dont like it close your web browser and go and book your tickets with someone else.
If you had searched on here, or google, prior to purchasing your tickets you would have seen that the way to avoid such charges is to get yourself a visa electron card.Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
Hi Andy and welcome to MSE.
If, as you say, you have been browsing here for a few months then I am surprised that you haven't seen people ranting about this before.
Yes its legal, and it's all in the T&C's before you click the button to pay.
Sorry if that's not what you want to hear.
Edit: phatbear can type faster than me ;0)0 -
Excellent - another Ryan air thread, we haven't had one for a while. 50/50 whether it's a troll or someone who hasn't grasped the concept of the search facility.0

we have a 22 month old and we would definately change her in the aisle as a matter of principle rather than pay mucker a yo-yo for use of the jacks-im sure other passengers/victims would love that!
i would take an empty plastic bottle with me too!!
i would however pay big money for mucker to remove the 11 (yes thats 11 on a 1hour flight) bullseye baggies adverts and starfish telecom propaganda i had to listen to recently out of gatwick...and dont get me started on the "now you too can be a millionaire with ryanair..."

I thought it was quite an interesting post. Nothing weird about it either, I quite agree with the poster.0 -
its not as it seems JAMMIN. "inspector deadfish" and his mate "lackofantenna" were criticised on another thread by me by mindlessly racially stereotyping our european friends so inspector deadfish has decided that instead of apologising and getting on with life he/she will search my posts and reply in an equally mindless way. perhaps he should be made to follow one of his countries "heroes" prince harry and be advised to go on a racial awareness course by martin lewis as i believe racism is not allowed on this site?0

"He said that if the airline was prevented from charging passengers on the way in to the toilet, it would impose the charge when they were on the way out. It would also impose soiling charges where appropriate"

For all those that took the £1 to use the toilet story seriously, O'Leary has now come out and said it was a wind up:
