    It's crazy these flight prices!!

I want to go on Thursday night (22.10 flight dep Newcastle to Dublin) and paid £87.50 one way
Then I'm going on 17th-18th March...St Patricks day, and paid £13.50 return

I wonder where they get their prices from it's just crazy the way they do it!

Generally speaking, the closer you get to the flight day, the more expensive the flight becomes. That seems to be the rule on airlines.

A jump from 29.99 last night was quite bad up to 49.99!

I do understand that about it being closer to the time though

the limitations that you have got with bagage and having to pay to take a case with enough clothes for a week.

But it's not just Ryanair who charge for checked luggage.
Easyjet, Jet2, BMIBaby do, and from yesterday Thomas Cook started to charge for checked baggage on flight-only bookings. So Ryanair are no different to many other budget carriers.

What 'baggage limitations' do you mean?

Returned from a great weekend in germany

flew out with ryanair from manchester to dusseldorf, on thursday night, flight on time, hand luggage was ok, right sizes, correct weight,

people with 2 bags were being turned back at security and told to go to the check in desks.

I received 3 e-mails regarding this before leaving, so it was all there.

i have always taken 2 plastic bags with my liquids in, the lady on security told me it was only 1 bag, but hubby was let through with 2

Also security lady told me that, as of yesterday you have to use the correct bags, which can be bought from manchester airport for £1, and all other airports have been charging for this.

flight home last night was a experience, flight was really full, and there was a gang of lads who had been drinking before the flight left, they were ok, but very loud.

Someone decided that after they had got on the plane, they didn't want them on, so after a long time 4 of them were escorted from the plane, or rather pushed by the german police.

So this flight didn't land on time, but it should have done.

thanks again ryanair, for another cheap weekend away, with a good flight.

Hi - what do you mean by "correct bags". In the T&C, it states 1 litre or 20x20cm.

    Thanks! :)
I would love to be lazy but can't find the time:exclamati

the correct size bags for putting liquids in, was told if it wasn't the correct bag, then you would have to buy one from the airport for £1.

There were machines around check-in, with plastic bags in those little plastic egg things to purchase for £1 each.

It has to be clear and resealable, like a freezer bag, apparently.
  • hi all, just sighned up and firstly i would like to say what a brilliant site this is, i have been browsing the site for a few months now and i have found lots of usefull information, anywaymy question is,i recently booked a return flight for myself and my better half to the costa brava in april with ryan air the cost of the flights with airport check in and 1 hold bag came to 116 pounds, which i was reasonably happy with both out going and in coming flights wer decent times, what i am concerned with however was the debit card fee of 19 pounds  which was added at the end of my transaction,is this legal, this to me seems a bit of a rip off,has any body else had a charge like this, thanks for taking the time to read my rant.
