Get back in touch with them and tell them you wanted all info they hold on you, it is because you asked for specific items.
They should have found all info though, why have they not mentioned the loans if you had any?.0 -

If you want information, make it as easy as possible for them to find it!
This is the problem! I'm sending them a SAR which says 'since 2000 i've had a number of loans and credit cards with you, here's my current account number to help you find my information'.
HSBC: "As you have not quoted any information enabling me to trace your credit cards I am returning your request....Please provide credit card numbers".0 -
I am unable to locate the Account Number needed to send the letter. Will it be pointless sending the letter without the Account Number?0

Hi there,I have a couple of questions regarding a couple of old cards. Can I send a SAR for a store card I held with M&S in the early 2000's. I know I paid PPI as I was young and niave and thought that I needed it. To my recollection no-one explained what this was in full as I had a job with good sickness benefit and I also had mortgage protection and life insurance. My understanding is that PPI offered the same thing I already had in place??? So it it worth sending a SAR to M&S to claim my money back???
Also I have previously tried to reclaim money on an MBNA card that I know I paid PPI on and they turned it down as I had signed the agreement. Again I was not made aware of the entire agreement and believe I was miss sold the policy. However can I send a SAR for all a paperwork on this account and try to claim again? I thought the initial rejection was the end of the line until recently checking up on it again and am now wondering if I gave up too soon???
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

I contacted Tesco 3 wks ago with a template letter inc: £1 asking for any info they hold on the CC we had with them years ago which we paid of when we had another loan from a different company. I dont have the account number but thought they could find it with the address.
The have just replied stating Tesco use numerical code for the identification of accounts and without an account number and sort code or CC
number they are unable to proceed with the request .
Would a sars letter with the £10 make any difference???

Hi people,
A little bit of help is needed please. I have now closed around 15 credit accounts, after paying off all my debt. I suspect that i had PPI on some of these accounts, but I am not sure. All my paperwork has been binned.
I want to know the following from each lender:
1. All accounts (including account numbers)
2. Whether I had PPI or not
Do I just send the template letter at the start of this thread and specify the account number (if known) or do I just request ALL details?
Many thanks0 -
Try contacting the banks first to see if they can find you, if you have a branch local to you then pop in and they can help you, if you get no joy, you need to request a Sar from each bank,if you had a loan or credit card with one bank then one Sar will do for that bank, ask for all info they hold on you and give them 40 days to respond.0
