Ring the bank up and ask where your info is, tell them the 40 days are up and if they do not get this to you within 7 days, you will report them to the ICO.

I will give them until the end of the week and if i've still not heard anything, I will phone them on Monday.

    Hi there

Where are you with this now?

A SAR request or a reclaiming complaint?

With a SAR they have 40 calendar days and with a reclaim they should acknowledge your complaint within a week maybe 2, then it's 8 weeks as from the date they receive your complaint for them to send you a decision.

I would contact them direct by ringing or maybe emailing them to ask for an update.;)

    Hi Stephen

For SAR I used the address below......

    LLOYDS TSB BANK PLC
    DSAR TEAM
    CUSTOMER SERVICES
    RECOVERY TEAM
    CHARLTON PLACE C57
    ANDOVER
    HAMPSHIRE
    SP10 1RE

I assume it's still the same, unless someone else can clarify on this, post by recorded/signed for delivery for your proof of posting, good luck.

    Hi Guys

Need to send SAR letters to GE Capital, Egg, MBNA and Sainsburys......any idea what addresses I should use (same addresses I sent my PPI complaint letters?) and when I send the £10 cheque, do I make them payable to the banking names above?

Just wondering re Egg as I believe they no longer exist or something like that?

    Many thanks

    Gary

Hi can I clarify, when sending a SAR does that automatically tell the bank that I wish to make a complaint about the selling of ppi or do I wait for all the info to come back then send a letter to them?
    Sorry just very confused
