Agreed, however there seems to be allot of "uninformed" statements suggesting that the change is imminent on this thread - speculation.:naughty:
Not sure who that comment is meant for but the informed (and I class myself as one because I've read and understood the press release) are saying that they expect their HICA's to be migrated to the Reward account at some point during 2009.

Why? Because HBOS have stated that it is their "intention" to do so.

I was generalising Mr Yorkshire Boy, why should a "one off" press release override up to date information from a. A branch CSA, b. A Branch Manager and c. A computer system (Intranet site for the branches with "updated product information")

If I was "directing" any feedback to a particular poster, I would clearly "state" whom I was addressing sir. ;)
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

So both her, her manager and the computer were lying then?

...... I'm getting a lot of mileage out of that post. But they really are a bit shambolic over this account. And ..... I still think they've made a hash of the T&Cs as regards the number of accounts you can have.

But I'll not repeat that. ;)

Do I sound stupid? (which is rhetorical and not requiring of a response ..... let alone several!):p

  • I am interested in apply for this Reward account myself but I do not want an overdraft. Will not opting for this improve my chances of being accepted? As I do not have the best credit history ( 1 satisfied default from 2006 and a few late payments on one of my credit accounts) but I do believe I have a good internal score with Halifax as everytime I go in to the branch I am asked if I would like to upgrade my account with them.
