Awful news about your friends husband ((hugs))
    Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:j
Weekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/175
  • A little update from me - have totally given up on the no chocolate challenge had a horrible day yesterday and ended up eating a big bar of Galaxy

I have been getting really bad headaches since the weekend, had a freak out as they felt like the headaches I get when I need my lenses in my glasses changed, - only had them changed in March -Thankfully my eyes are ok.
However I went to the Doctors tonight thinking I was getting reaccuring Migrane headaches and he said I have Sinusitis left over from having a really bad cold the past 2 weeks, the cold and evil cough have now gone Thank God!!

Onto money - I emptied my old Roses jar and between that and the money I am getting from my old MP3 player I have enough with some left over for my ipod. Still not sure which one I want - Do I go for the pretty Purple 16gb one which I know will not hold all my music and pick and choose what I want on it. OR the ipod classic 160gb if I go for that do I get the silver or black one?!! I just don't know :confused::confused:

Still babysitting and getting a little bit each week so my house savings are going up slowly just now :)

I have a silver classic which I love. The storage space is awesome :D

I have put a "skin" on mine which pretties it up plenty. I'll have a look for some links for you. They're not cheap, but otherwise the b*ggers scratch soooo easily.

    Thanks F_F!
Think I will go for the classic 160gb then I can load some tv and movies on there as well!

    Quite liked this skin
Was also thinking about a leather case for it but would prefer a skin!

Don't know how to make the links like yours with the click for pretty!!
Thanks again for the links :D

    Found it :D

    Fancy links 101

    1. Copy the link you want to use. For example www.bbc.co.uk
    2. Post a wee message on the MSE forums and type some kind of interesting thing like "Click me for funtimes"
    3. Highlight the text you have just typed
    4. Click on the picture above where you're typing that looks like a globe with a paperclip on it
    5. A little box should pop-up. Paste your link into this.
    6. You should have something that looks like so:

    Click me for funtimes!
  • A little update from me

I finally received my discharge letter from my Protected Trust Deed today :j:j:j
This means that all my money is definately now my own! I will heading to the bank on Friday or Saturday this week to upgrade to my bank account to a proper current account as I was told about a month ago as long as I had my letter they would be able to over ride the credit check at the branch :T

I have also been babysitting quite a bt since last weekend and have added more to my savings which is great.

F_F I took your advice and bought myself the silver ipod classic, have loaded all my music onto it all 23.3GB of it, that is roughly 217 albums worth of music :eek: Also bought a leather case instead of the skin as it was cheaper and if I do drop it will hopefully protect it a bit more :)

I have also signed up for the DFW Edinburgh festive meet really looking forward to meeting some people from here :D

    Thats about it for now
