Now I know what they are Palmela - thanks for that. I really like the idea of these pots of gold - they seem a lovely thoughtful gift - will need to try and remember about them for next year. Thanks for that.

No Problem. I found the Christmas Moneysaving in December and having read through some of the threads decided I would start making more things for Christmas for 2010. I always give the girls I work with a small thing and am always looking for something different so the Pots of Gold will be really good for next year and won't break the bank!Just noticed you have a blog too now so have been over for a wee nosey - nice cards. I've subscribed to your blog too now.
Thanks, will be adding the cards to my blog as I make them. I am using the blog to keep a record of them so I can look back incase I run out of ideas in the future!!

Its back to work tomorrow!
Went to the cinema with a friend to see Avatar in 3D today and loved it!
Also went Jeans shopping with my Dad!! They were a must as New Look Jeans do not fit me now
(I am down to 1 pair that fit:eek: )
I have been buying the same Jeans from New Look for about 5/6 years and love them. However they have changed their supplier and that has caused them not to fit me, I even tried the next size up and they were not comfortable at all. Thank goodness for Matalan and Asda!! I also got a pretty blue, grey and black puff dress and although it didn't look great with my chunky milk bottle legs I still bought it - It goes great with my leggings and knee high boots!! :j:j
I took my car for a drive today, the 1st time I have driven since the early hours of Friday morning!! Although the roads were a nightmare, but at least I know I can drive to work in the conditions tomorrow :T

Good to catch up on your diary...... glad everything is still going well.
I don't mind driving in the snow or slushy roads - it's when they freeze is the problem for me...
Have a good day at work tomorrowDebts 07/12/2021

I don't mind driving in the snow but our estate entrance/exit is on a slight slope and if you stop on the slope then your car gets stuck!!
I bused it into work today and it took ages and even longer to get home tonight!! But I will be driving tomorrow

Thought I would update my little diary!!
I was reading through my Gran's daily paper today and it had an advert for their own auction site so I took down the web address and had a look tonight.
I have always wanted a Wii but have never been able to afford one, anyhow on the site there was a wii with the sports so I bought some bids (£9) and preceeded to wait until near the finish time for the wii auction. I bid £0.07 for a £5 e-voucher for amazon while I waited and I won!!:T
I was watching other things going in this time as well and as I didn't have many bids for my money decided to try my best and I WON a Wii for............................ all of £0.50 :j:j I have £7.50 p&p to add to that but I got a wii for all of £8 in total I am so happy all I need to do is pray I have enough bids and go for the Wii fit plus now
There is also a camera on there that I would love so I need to bide my time and see what happens with that.
I am not going to go daft as I have not spent a great deal of money on it and I don't intend to but I will be keeping an eye for other things of interest

In my excitment last night I forgot to do a proper update!!!
Went to see The Sound of Music last week and it was brilliant - Connie Fisher was superb.
I am off to see The Lostprophets in 3 weeks time, can't wait!!
I have been making some of my own cards and am hoping to make a few more in the next few weeks, as I am really enjoying it.
I am heading out on Sunday car shopping with my brother
Possibly wiping my savings and starting over with the house savings to get it
The reason for that is I am not being kicked out by my parents and I really could do with a new car!
I applied for a college course in December for starting in March - I got a reply a week later saying the course was full. However about 2 weeks ago I received a letter saying I had a place on the course if I wanted it.... So I am off to do an Introduction to Digital Photography at college starting on 24th March :j

Wow - all going well in your world! Well done on the Wii - that's incredible! Just goes to show what is available out there. :T Good news on the college course too!
I'm starting thinking about booking Bygoszcz flights - if I do it now I can stick 'em on the 0% card and pay them off gradually, seems sensible to me!

Bought 2 games for my wii tonight can't wait to get it.
Looking forward to the college course and may take it further if I enjoy it.
Already booked for Torun, staying in Bydgoszcz and looking to book for Bydgoszcz soon.
Can't wait only 7 weeks tomorrow til our 1st meeting - I'm getting withdrawal now and in desperate need of a fix! Although 4 weeks tomorrow until video night so that will give me a little fix but not the same as being there.

I popped along to Foxhall last Friday for a quick nosey at the changes being done to the track - had a gossip and a cuppa with our Trackman and he showed me what they've been up to - looks really good and I'm quite excited for our first meeting now! Our track photographer and I have been saying though, we're going to have to learn a completely new method of shooting for a different shaped track! I love the season, but equally I enjoy the time to myself during the winter - OH has rugby practise on Thursday nights so during the winter I get "me time!"
