Get my Pretty new car tomorrow!! :j:j
It is Silver not Metallic Blue as they are having bother getting the blue ones, me and 3 others were wanting blue and the garage are not getting any blue ones in until mid to late April at the earliest

I agreed to take a silver one and after thinking about it I am very glad I have gone for it as I have seen loads of Red and Blue i10's on the road but very few silver ones :D

I have named my new car Star the Silver Kar as the 1st 2 letters of the Reg plate are SK :D

I am also driving to Glasgow within an hour of getting it as I am off to see the Stereophonics at the SECC

Also meant to say about my lovely new car - I get free car washing and valetting service and a top up of oil, windscreen washing fluid or antifreeze/coolant for the duration that I have my car. :j

Only stipulation is it has to be a Saturday morning (Not a problem) and I have to phone and book it in (Again not a problem) I am thinking of doing this once a month. :D

No probs Maria, I do read your diary daily, I just don't always post on it!!
I can take the car every week if I want too - I am picking up my car mats tomorrow as they were out of stock, so I think I will book the car in for next Saturday as the outside is a littel dirty already!!

Oh no! Poor you. Keep yourself tucked up nice and warm and give yourself a proper chance to recover - otherwise it will just take so much longer. I agree too - that's an amazing service with the car - really impressive!

    A little update on me:-

Still poorly :( Loos likely I will be off work all week as I still have no voice and my cough is still lingering on - BIG pest really.

Today however I have made the invitations for my Grannie's 90th Birthday party, all I need is her approval and I will start printing and sending them off!

I also decided that I wanted to see how much money I spend each year on my biggest hobby - Speedway - SO I have set myself up a spreadsheet, I will add up everything including Petrol (if I am driving) food/drink, entry and a programme at each meeting. I think the amount I spend is in the region of about £1000 so it will be interesting to see come October what the actual total is and see if there are ways of reducing it for next year!!:T
