thought I would post a pic of DD2 and her snow mouse!
    sorry taken off now
  • Some one else has had a go about dear heart - I am a bit upset. I think I have set myself up as a bit of a target for this, as it patently upsets me when people attack him on no pretext whatsoever.

I am going to go away and keep my head down for a bit, spend some time with dear heart. But I am fine, and I will be popping in to read the thread occasionally.

I will be keeping up my blog, so little bear's virtual family can keep up with his mischief (he's still trying to wash his hands in the toilet).

Hugs to all and good luck.

Well Sunnygirl I think he is a very lucky lad having someone batting in his corner, for his parents seem to "not have a clue". I hope he takes advantage of the situation and gets himself on the right road. You also need to ensure if he is not working "at work" he is pulling his weight around the house.

  • Evening all...
    Halight - any news?
I'm still getting to know everybody's names, but I am assuming Spike is a wee babby? What a lovely name.

Guess what! Anglian Water have finally sorted out a customer complaint re charging me for a leak that they left unrepaired for two weeks. I have a £100 refund coming back and my montly dd will be cut in half! Refund will go straight to the dreaded credit card bill - I'm now well on my way to my DF target.

DD is on her sleepover tonight. Just off to have a glass of wine whilst watching Neighbours. Will pop lasagne in the mosky to heat up, then stick my feet up all evening. This will be one of my 5 OS pleasures for today!

Tomorrow is my favourite evening - Dad's Army, Victorian Farm, History of Scotland - I need to get a life!!!
    Have a lovely evening all....

    Hi everyone

I've got the bah humbugs now - I found a job I wanted to apply for - it was advertised on a website and the form was in Adobe, so I downloaded it, converted it to Word, spent a couple of hours filling it in, then emailed the Word file back. Within five mins I got an email telling me that since it wasn't in the format the form was originally provided in my application was unacceptable.:mad::mad::mad: I suppose it's my own fault for not starting it earlier, but the application deadline has now passed. Pass the chocolate someone!!!!!!

SunnyGirl, I admire you for giving that young man a chance. Too many young people are written off before they have found their way in life. The swotty ones often get all the glory and praise even when it comes naturally to them. There is good in just about everyone.

wannabe sybil - I haven't a clue what has happened or what has been said to you, but please don't go too far.

Blairweech, OK I know I don't have a job, but the thought of getting snowed out of wo*k really does tickle my fancy:rotfl:

There is no snow here right now, but I went to the shops earlier and saw that the Mourne Mountains are covered in it - very beautiful indeed. We have a lovely clear sky (so lots of frost tonight).

My clever kitty Teddy let me know what a minging mummy I am today. The litter tray wasn't quite scooped out to his standard of hygiene (I have 3 cats so it gets a bit "congested" shall we say). He managed to reverse his butt into the bag of clean stuff and left a desposit in there. I got the message loud and clear.

Right, gotta go now, be good everyone.
