Morning all
I'm still waiting to find out if school is open or closed, I shall make my way in soon anyway, I shall just get there late, do I care? Not a lot, I'm not risking life & limb trying to get there first.
Breakfast - toast & marmalade
Lunch - sarnies
Tea - spag bol
I had a very productive day yesterday, I sorted my larder cupboard & made sure I was short of nothing important. I made 7 jars of marmalade, blitzed the kitchen afterwards & even descaled the kettle.
I hope everyone has a good day.
Hugs Hester
p.s. Did anyone hear the mistake on BBC news this morning, they posted a rant by Christian Bale, all went well the first time I saw it, on the 2nd time, they forgot to beep out the swearing, so we were treated to the F word, I have to admit the look on the faces of the presenters was priceless.

Tru - my DH is exactly the same. We have paperwork everywhere and it really gets on my nerves. I hope you've made some good sales!
Halight - fingers here are well and truly crossed for your interview today. You are so determined to get a job, you deserve to get the perfect one.
Well, I've had my shower and done some online banking. I need to sweep and wash the kitchen floor and prep the onions and mushrooms for tonight's dinner. Then I shall dry my hair and stick some slap on my face and head out for the bank and shops early; it's getting harder and harder to find a parking place in our village. We have two large carparks and three small ones (one of which you can park in for up to five hours free, so it's always the first one to fill up); the others will only let you park for two hours, which seems to be the norm everywhere now. If there's one thing I hate, it's hunting round for a parking place. Still, the earlier I go, the more chance I have of finding a space without using up a gallon of petrol.
On the plus side, the rain has stopped and it's actually quite mild so I really feel for those who are getting even more snow, especially now they are warning that stocks of grit and salt are low. We never seem to get it right in this country, do we?
Oh, well - time for another coffee, I think.

We've got snow.I thought we'd never get any.
Good morning all. It's lovely and bright but very cold.
I'm nice and toasty though so not complaining.I've got two layers of thermals on as I have to go out to the shops.
OH has asked for leek and potato soup this evening and a bread and butter pudding for after's.He has a business lunch today so he'll not be wanting anything heavy later in the day.
bargainbird,I would'nt worry about your wellies.I wish I had mine handy but OH put them in the loft as I've never needed them for so long.I'll have to wait till he comes in to find them.
Good luck today Halight, hope the inteview goes well.

The snow here isn't as bad as yesterday, but it's snowing again right now!
