Afternoon all
Well my hairdresser turned up, on time too, she was a nervous wreck after driving in the snow, so I sat her down with a :coffee: before I let her loose with the scissors on my hair, well I didnt fancy ending up with a punk haircut:rotfl:
Had cheese on muffins for lunch again and OH had his usual beans on toast,
the SC is bubbling away merrily with the beef stew for Dinner.
Sybil - glad to see you back I wondered where you were
Your LB reminds me of my DS2 when he was little, nothing fazed him he was up to all sorts right from the start, but O he was such fun, scared me to death sometimes though, he seemed to have no fear at all.
Marie - so pleased you are feeling a bit better today x
tired mum - you want a moan, you carry on, after a day like yours I would be moaning as well, £220  ooo ek thats a lot.
freebiequeen - what a nightmare, ooo I hate driving in the snow and do anything I can to avoid it.
r.mac - It seems like forever when you go over doesnt it? Enjoy the match and just think next year you will all be watching the match together x
off to make OH a :coffee:

Afternoon :hello:
We have had more snow this morning and it is much colder again. Taken some photos before it melts. Been sorting out some files, shredded the stuff we no longer need and added it to the compost tardis!
Hope everyone is ok, safe and warm, hugs for those who need them.0 -
Full of snow again here and school off, no buses running and apparently in for more heavy snow Sun:o
It also means OH who is self employed has not been able to get to work as van stuck so its not good for money:rolleyes:
OS wise am making some rhubarb jam later.
Found out yesterday I `m going to be an auntie:j , my bro and his wife have been trying 3 years and have started IVF a few months ago. Early days as only 3 weeks but am praying it all goes ok as if it all went wrong it would be worse for them than not getting pregnant at all iyswim.0 -
Good afternoon,
Just popped in to make sure everyone is keeping warm. I'm not too good at the moment, I'm having some treatment which is really knocking me out, but will hopefully be worth it in the end. I've just got out of bed!!
I have chicken legs in the SC which are meant for the dog, he's a very pampered boy, so I'm going to cut some pieces off and stick them into a jar of M&S Sweet & Sour sauce for our tea. Not very OS but the sauce was on offer.
Did I tell you that Wannabee Sybil and I used to be near neighbours? We probably met in the Post Office and didn't know each other. Small world.
I'll love you and leave you now.
Enjoy the evening.0 -
Maya - post on here as much as you like.
Honest.
I didn't say I was right or wrong or the ins or outs, just that I was feeling fragile. I shall get over it. I shall probably get over it quicker than fishing out a teddy from a loo, even a clean one, and trying to stop it dripping everywhere on its way to a prolonged washing machine experience.

Afternoon all
Hester - enjoy your day off
Mudgekin - hugs for you
Sybil - nice to see you back - we missed you and little bear
Happybirthday Churchmouse
I am happy, cheerful and remarkably relaxed! We have snow too. Lots in factI walked 2 miles to work and my feet are soaked still.
My office window view at the moment:
Chicken soup tonight for tea. I sort of forgot to put the stock in the fridge, but the flat is about the same temperature so I'm sure it will be fine.
OH's birthday on Saturday (30th). I wanted to take him to the chelsea physic garden, but they have delayed opening this year because of the snow, so we are going to Kew instead. He's very difficult to buy for so I have to think of something quickly tomorrow - I feel really bad for not being more organised - it just sort of crept up on me and I was worrying about my exam too much. Still, i'm sure it will be a nice day. I just hope the buses are running as we are forcast more snow.
Dr Jeckyll has been e-mailing my new boss to see if I needed or wanted anything in terms of equipment. I don't know what to think of that!
Have a good day all, and a huge hug to anyone that needs one, cel x:staradmin:starmod: beware of geeks bearing .gifs...:starmod::staradmin:starmod: Whoever said "nothing is impossible" obviously never tried to nail jelly to a tree :starmod:0 -
Afternoon All
I have been MIA for a few days due to too much work on and haven't read the previous threads. We have no snow:(.
Happy Birthday Churchmouse. It is my OH 39th birthday today. He is like a big kid when it comes to birthday's even though he doesn't get much in the way of presents or cards.:j :j
I have defrosted a chicken breast for OH and I will have a veggie kiev to have with roast pots and veg. Well that was what OH said he wanted last night for his birthday dinner. Now, he has decided he wants a very un OS indian takeaway. I can't stand the stuff myself and could do without spending the tenner especially since we have bought a decent bottle of red for tonight.
OS today I have made some bread in the BM and that's it really. Does listing items to sell on Am@z0n count? If so I have done 3! I like the fact that the listings last longer and are free until the items sell unlike e*ay.
Warm wishes to all

r.mac - I'm hoping your last post meant you had gone into labour at last! Thinking of you.
((((HUGS)))) to everyone whom I haven't mentioned but who needs hugging!
Dinner tonight was meant to be cottage pie, but I realised this morning that I'm meant to be going to a meeting at 7 p.m. (if my brain's working better by then) so not sure whether to eat early or late, and I think we'll have to have Mr S pie with oven chips so that DH can put it in the oven.
We've been promised more snow in the morning  (SE London/NW Kent) - we'll see!
Best wishes, ivyleaf xx0
