Best and Worst place you have been to?

Best.. Vegas so much to do and see cheaply.
Worst.. maybe Panama (shanty towns and violence) or maybe Chile (valparaiso) smelly and dirty0 -
Best: Machu Picchu in Peru at sunrise out on the ruins and away from all the commercialism down in the valley.
Worst: My home town of Bradford in Yorkshire. Once a proud industrial city, now a dump of epic proportions. No character, ruined by the PC brigade for racial equality and a shopping centre demolished leaving nothing but a ghetto of pound shops. I never thought I ever say that and it makes me very very sad.Age & Treachery Will Always Overcome Youth & Enthusiasm !!

Best : Paris with San Francisco a close 2nd
Worst : Iv been staring at this screen for the last 10mins trying to think of a worst place & i give up! Iv always tried to make the best of my holidays but the thought of going back to somewhere like Tenerife or Magaluf just makes me cringe. So my worst would be anywhere where there is lots of drunk lager louts, shouting Engurland! Engurland! wearing Union Flag shorts, eating British fry-ups, being lobster red from the sun, acting like @rseholes would be my worst!
Futute : Washington DC, New York & Boston in 6wks time. Woop Woop!0 -
I'm surprised the amount of people who list Rome as their worst... that was definitely on my 'to do' list, but maybe i'll have a re-think
Pity New Zealand is so far... heard alot of people raving on about it in real life too recently0 -
Don't be mad man! Go to Rome, make your own mind up. It really is one of those places you should visit. I loved New Zealand, but it really is a very long way away.I'm surprised the amount of people who list Rome as their worst... that was definitely on my 'to do' list, but maybe i'll have a re-think

Best: Hong Kong and Rome (can't believe people have this as their worst).
Worst: Luxor - was far too touristy despite the impressive sights (struggled to find places that weren't serving 'British' food)0 -
Best: Ravello, Italy closely followed by Fiji.
Worst: Dinan, France and, to be very specific, Dukes Bar on Waikiki Beach, Honolulu. Simple reason is that they used to operate the most blatantly racist admission system that I have ever witnessed and I just had to call the manager out on it. Apparently it was 'company policy'.0 -
Best - Orlando, Gran Caneria, New York
Worst - Kenya (by a country mile)!
Soon to move to Melbourne, Australia so hopefully that will be the best forever!!WIN £2008 in 2008 £1836.31 2009 wins - £91!!! 2010 wins in Oz $ 6170.... wins 2011 aprox $2000
MFIT - number 37. Reduce my mortgage from £63,500 to £48,000. now at 54,000...0 -
Best - A tiny village in the Basque region of France - they booked us in at 11pm at night, then cooked us mussels and steak at 11.30pm (turning on their patio fairy lights just for us), kept the bar open until 5.00am, then charged us the equivalent of £30.00 for 2 adults and 2 kids - loved them! Just wish I could find the blessed place again! Next to that Berlin.
Worst - A 'luxury' hotel in Portsmouth. In tow with 2 small daughters were greeted by the heavily tatooed 'hotel manager' who informed us that 'get in the bar, the stripper's on soon'. Next to that Salou, Spain - ugghhh.0 -
Am also very happy to learn that Krakow is not on anyone's 'worst list' as am going there in April. Phewww!0
