Looking for a bit of advice please, what would be the best choice of these 2 tvs:
Samsung LE40B530
or
Sony KDL40EX401
Or anything similiar around the £400 mark.
ThanksJan Grocery challenge
Budget £350 - Spent £64.45 to date0 -
Hi, they are both good , I bought the Samsung 10 months ago and am very happy with it taking into account the price. The Sony appears to be a dearer tv so may be slightly technically better. I would also consider the Toshibe 40LV665DB for £399 at Sainsburys. I think that if I going to pay more than £500 I would be looking for a set with Freeview HD tuner built in.0

I bought the Samsung in August and to be honest it's faultless. I bought it off Richer Sounds with the 5 year guarantee.0 -
Is this a good deal? It's a 42 inch panasonic tv for £400.

If you don't get much joy here with your query shadowspy then either try making a enquiry on AVForums or MSE's techie board.0

I ordered a TV from pc world last week, and they were selling off pretty much the whole store. This looks similar, they had tables full of their old TV's that have been hanging on the walls for over a year, selling them off for reasonable prices (I say reasonable, but obviously not for a second hand tv). I had done the online 'collect at store' purchase, so had no idea I was buying a second hand TV until I got there. I was NOT impressed and didn't buy it in the end. The panel had been used 24/7 for over a year!
It did have a warranty though.0 -
