Cwta I cleared a big space in the bedroom to do both wardrobes in, without taking the (divan) bed apart and tipping it up. Can't be arsed reshifting it to get in bed so it's staying here. We were gonna do the bigger one tonight, but after the faff of the door thing on the smaller one we were too frustrated to bother and got some chippy and watched some tele and played Wii Tanks
Much better idea
We love that little game
We have to go back to Ikea for the shelves for the bigger wardrobe (they'd run out of stock, some c0ck up with the ordering system or someat) in a couple of days anyway so might leave the door malarky till then. Good job we'd not put the seats back in in the Scenic or I'd've been even more p1ssy!
What dvd did you pick? Hope it did the trick...
Lol @ the B&J's! I won't mention the other adorable flavours to you or you'll never stop!I do love them but by 'ecky thump it's expenny! I have to ration my icecream consumption due to the IBS though so I suppose it's saved me a few pounds (of both types!). My Dairy Milk obsession is waning now, although DF did bring me some more tonight as a treat, bless him
Wouldn't it be good if we could take willpower pills? That's one I wouldn't mind trying!!
Hurry back Kass, me and Raeh need some entertainment"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
careful hope the dvd did the trick and you had a good night.
bz how annoying about the wardrobe. thats not what you want at all. wii playing instead of putting the other one together is good.
morning everyone.0 -
Dunno why I'm up early today - most unlike me.
Have been having some problems with puter and it looks like the graphics card is on its way out. I'll have to spend some tine tinkering today to see what I can do to keep it going a bit longer. Have absolutely no problem whipping cards etc in and out of pcs, but lappies are a bit different and scarier.
Quick tip of the day. Your dinner is not improved my washing it prior to eating.
I made bacon and egg on toast for dinner last night. I had some washing up soaking in the sink, the plate was perched on the side next to the sink - can you see where this is going??
I just had toast in the end:rolleyes:

Re the gardening - I haven't really done much more since my sorte into the back garden. I just haven't been able to dredge up the energy to start digging the front bed and weeding the (what is laughingly, and for want of a more accurate single word, is called) patio. It won't get done this week, that's for sure. Although I have managed to 'feed' the lawn, and as it hasn't rained since I'm going to have to drag out the hose and water the stuff in. Oh, and I've had a third attempt at growing some lavendar from seeds. I'm not holding out much hope for success though as when I took the pots off the shelf in order to give 'em a drink, I managed to knock half of them over in the process.
As for the lappy - do you want me to ask T/S about the practicality of replacing the graphics card on it? Of course, it might not be the card, but the screen - depends on the symptoms.s/e0 -
Mornin' s/e
I understand that T/S is really busy, but an ickle word with him for some advice would be helpful.
I've done all diagnostics to help with lappie probs, and the graphics card is running at 30% performance. I have been having probs on and off for a few months, but got into trying to find route of problem last night.
Am happy to replace card if needed, but have absolutely no idea how to know which one is a suitable replcement.
Sounds like you're still struggling a bit after the gardening. I'll take some cuttings of Dad's massive Lavendar plant and root them for you. Let me know if there's anything else you fancy - I do enjoy seeing cuttings take, although the bamboo I tried to get going from a cutting failed miserably.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

At least I've finally got through to my darlin' Ma that I really don't want her coming to see me when she's full of bugs and coughing fit to bust. I spent years giving consideration to my father's immune system (ie, not visiting when I've been exposed to some kind of bug in case I passed it on to him), and it's nice that it's finally dawned on her that she really should keep her bugs to herself.
If I can't get this lavendar to 'go' I'll take you up on your offer, thanks. I have managed (occasionally) to get things started from seeds, and by taking cuttings myself, but I'm not the worlds greatest gardener and I tend to forget to do minor things like watering them. Strangely, they seem to object to this treatment and curl up an die.s/e0 -
Thank you! I do understand how busy he is.
I heard a vicious rumour that a sale starts at M&S today and I have to go in that area so I may replace some of my grey, saggy old bras and knickers. What excitement!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Unfortunately, I am rather over-endowed and the rigid bras always have that slight padded feel which looks very peculiar. The prices were good - £4, but I didn't really like anything - all scratchy or moulded.
No matter - it's not like anyone is going to see them anyway!I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
:rotfl: s/e, flimsy knickers! Don't tell me you managed to rip yours!
Auntie axe, all I can say is eewwww. I have a mental image of you stood in manky grey knickers and bra! You're gonna have to show me a photo of you so I can put the image out of my head!
Thanks for the concern over the weekend bz. I'm fine other than the inevitable happening and me and OH have split up. I've gone up to the attic to liveI was considering going into a hostel (well it's not actually a hostel as such, they put you in a house but they are in awful area's) but it isn't fair on the kids so I'm just going to have to put up with him making me feel like the most horrible person in the world. He's making me feel really guilty and doesn't understand that just cos you love someone, doesn't mean you can make it work. I just want to keep things as normal as possible for the kids.
On a lighter note, I have my new baby coming on my birthday! :T
I haven't seen him yet but he is black and white and ready to leave his mum a couple of days after my birthday but I can have him on my birthday provided he is eating etc. The little !!!!!! has a comfier bed than me! I bought a RSPCA bed and it's the comfiest pet bed I've ever seen. I'm all excited now! A girl I know was going to give me one of her babies as she had a boy and girl but really wanted two girls. A friend of hers had said she wanted one but she offered me him first cos she knew how excited I was. I told her to give him to her other friend as it was at the weekend and I thought I was going to be homeless. The house is in his name but he has said he will go if I can get the landlord to give the tenancy to me.
Right, enough of me. You lot have been proper busy on here haven't you!
That is carp about the identity fraud unity,or was it wolfie, I've slept since I read about it sorryHope it didn't spoil the weekend for you.
Hope auntie axe and bz are feeling better and a big hello to di, hope your friend finds us :hello:
Glad to see sharon, felt well enough to update us. Hope everything went ok yesterday love.
Hi pcl, didn't want to leave you out
Tut tut raeh, annoying kids indeed! You should have heard my terms of endearment for them when I used to do the summer camps
And that thing about the chocolate factory full of em was my worst nightmare when I was "normal" never mind now!!!!0
