  • Pahhh with all this talk of size 10s and 12s. I managed to get down in the last 18 months or so from a size 20/22 to a size 18 and it looks like that's where I'm sticking. If I could get rid of my belly, I could drop another couple of sizes, but the muscles have gone.

I'm lucky that if I can't find a decent bra, there are usually a couple of buckets and some yard rope hanging around that'll do the trick.
I used to work at a place where there was a 2nd hand car place called Double D's - you can just guess when I was the only girlie working with nearly 30 young blokes.

Now I just need to find the equivalent of a bra for my bum and my bingo wings!

bz I hope you get your sinuses sorted out - nasty. My Mam used to have sinus washouts when she was in her 30s. I can still remember her black eyes!

kass, you sound like you have your head screwed on about what you need to focus on and that's a lot of the battle. Good luck with getting things sorted one step at a time.

suep, the sale is the mis-season sale, so should be on for a while. There are quite some reductions for a change.

After being up early I went back to bed this afternoon and have only just got up again. I hope it'll perk me up a bit s I've been very tired recently.

OK, I must go feed the animal before she tears my arm off.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Just a quick hello to everyone:hello:, lack of sleep (or rather plethora of dreams) = lack of coherence :o.

Kass - sorry to hear your news - keep your chin up girl, all bad things, just like all good things do come to an end.

I have had some good bra bargains from http://www.brastop.com/Default.aspx as I'd often had problems getting a good fit until I found this site. They do large cup sizes and all sorts of styles and often have two for one offers or significantly reduced prices.

Thanks for the support over the ID theft, I now have my new card and the unauthorised payments have been refunded, so I'm just waiting for the letter to sign to confirm the transactions were nowt to do with me. I think it was on Thursday or Friday of last week that I saw an item on the news showing an Indian call centre worker selling lists of credit card numbers complete with names and security codes for £12 a go, or £10 for bulk purchases . Of course the company I use just happens to have an Indian call centre  .

I've lost my thread again so I'm going to toddle off and do some Tunisian crochet because I don't have to think :D.

Bless the lot of ya. Seriously, thanks you guys.
So maybe you keeping going and being "hard faced" is just the way you need to be to not fall into the pit, iyswim?

Yeah, I have the kids to think about. I was thinking that last night when I really wanted to cry cos I felt so bad but thought if I did that would be it, I'd be a mess so you're absolutely right.

With regards to asking for help. This is really a new one for me :D

I'm terrible for being too proud to admit I need help but again, I have the kids to think about and if I'm not meeting their needs then it would be neglect not to ask for help.

I never got any links and demand you send me them all of you!!!!!! :D I want to see piccies.

I see I've forgotten how to do the quote thing.

It really winds me up that shops all have their own version of what a size 10/12/14 etc should be. Don't they realise how depressing it is!!

Kass, I need to do a few changes to my photobucket account, but will send you the password when Ive figuered it out.

cwta I couldn't wait and have done my M&S sale shopping online, they have more choices than my local shop I expect anyway. I was good and just got some more new bras, since my size changed I had to throw out loads and now only have 3 so it was rather urgent :o

Unity :hello: hi hun, Ive finished the first book that cwta sent me, it's by P.C. and Kirsten Cast and is called Marked, I think its best descibed as a teenage vampire book, easy to read but with a good story, look it up on Amazon and let me know, Im happy to send it to you. I recieved the 2nd one in the series today (thankyou cwta) and I think theres 2 more.

Ahem... I think it might be because I'm a wee bit older than you. If I remember correctly you're only a year or two older than T/S.
Nope, it's just cos I never had the days where I was a size 10! Think I went straight into the charts at a 14...might've possibly had one size 12 item, once upon a time...?
