Sue that sounds really very painful, you poor thing; I've managed to spill scalding hot tea on myself before now, and I know it flippin' well hurts!

Mr LW is home again today - he should've been on late shift, but the chap who was meant to do earlies overslept, so Mr LW is doing it instead.;) Yeah, it's complicated, but the upshot is I have some company today.:j

Hi LW it was at the time, but its settled down now, I was scared about having a shower this morning as I knew the hot water would hurt, so I held a cold wet flannel over the bur with 1 hand while I washed with the other

Ive had company today too as Mr suep is a window cleaner and its been raining here today , usually he gets bored but he's putting together a new tv cabinet, the airs been blue :D and typical, now its too late for him to go to work, the suns came out

I have a confession, I didn't go and play with the photo thingy, I fell asleep on the sofa with Diamond :oLW you wanted to see Diamond didnt you ? I'll send you the new password if you do, once I've thought of one and set it.

I do hope cwta is having a lovely time, when is she due back ? Im sure she said and Ive forgotten as usual.

She'll be back tomorrow afternoon/evening or Saturday - it's basically only a day trip. I just hope the weather's better where she's going and she actually gets to see the northern lights. It's pretty grotty down yer at the moment with rather a lot of cloud cover.

Hahahahaha :rotfl: No, I don't think the courts would look too kindly on you beating her, especially with her own stick bz!
I realised that just as I was about to swing the blow.

See, I don't mind telling DF to get the bus while I have the car for the day, losing sleep and rest, and taking her to her appts where I wait endlessly... but when she then takes the persistance by asking/telling me to go to the poundshop for unlimited numbers of tins of dogfood, getting her fags (which she shouldn't be smoking, for both health AND financial reasons, and she certainly shouldn't be asking me to get them as she promised she wouldn't -cos I don't wanna get involved, long story) and then of course what's a docs appt without a prescription? So we have to go the chemist, except the poundshop didn't have the dog food in so now I have to find somewhere else to go get said dog food or the dogs won't eat tonight (cos foreplanning doesn't occur ) so we go to Sainsbury's. She'd already asked me if I was picking DF up and at what time, so of course 30mins after the time I'd said I had to leave to pick him up we left Satansbury's complete with mucho shopping - a list for which she was already supposed to have given her friend to do the day before! I was 25 mins late to pick up DF and MIL2B was lucky to have gotten home in one piece!

Sorry, you had to ask.

Suep I knew there was a reason I didn't do hot drinks!! Hope it heals up well. If you've got any Aloe Vera gel it should do the trick nicely?

Kass no matter how rubbish your circumstances are or how low things go, you seem to be able to make me laugh with your posts. Keep going girl!

I had a bit of a nightmare post-both last night. Went downstairs to the kitchen, DF switched on the light, but there was no light. Turned out there was water in the lightbulb, and on the floor underneath. (My landlord's gonna start thinking I'm deliberately breaking things to pee him off with soon!!) Then after that was cleaned up we went to bed...and 5 mins later my IBS kicked off, big time! I was sick and everything, and very unhappy about it too :( DF was, of course, after some initial concern at my obvious pain and distress....fast asleep!

Was it you, S/e, that said about hot baths not being good for you? My nerve endings were all excessively itchy after the bath and I think the IBS attack had something to do with it too. The water was hot enough to turn my skin red though :o

Weather's chuffing cold and windy here so I've only made it out of bed to get a jumper on so my arms don't seize up...;)

Oh, I dunno - sounds like mitigating circumstances there.

They certainly don't agree with me - I'll end up feeling extremely unwell after I've had a bath (having said that, it's been around 10 years since I last attempted it, cos I also find it extremely difficult to get out aftewards), so I stopped doing it.

Mind you - are you sure it wasn't the stress of taking MiL2B out? I know that if I start going through long term stressful periods I'll end up with severe [strike]dia[/strike], [strike]dior[/strike], [strike]di[/strike], upset stomach and will if it gets bad enough start vomiting as well.

Bluddy wet an' windy here too - although inside it's not cold enough for me to put the heating back on.

I was starting to black out while in there, and the itchy crazy nerve ending did my head in, but I'm pretty sure that heat does play a factor in the IBS thing. I think iI've been the same/similar with hot water bottles etc. Besides heat/steamyness does make me feel sick.
I know MiL2B was a pain and her own particular brand of stressful, but she's not generally bad enough to make my IBS kick off ;) Stress does that to me too though... :o

Yeah, but there is such a thing as an accumulation of stress (you've been under a fair bit one way or another over the past few months) and she could just have been the straw that broke the camel's back yesterday.

By the way, are you still on the appetite suppresant or have you gone back to your original meds - you did say a while back that the IBS kicked off when you stopped taking the pregablin, didn't you?

Thanks for reminding me about the Aloe vera, Ive only got a huge plant of it in the kitchen that I always use on the families burns, I completely forgot about it for myself  I really am stupid sometimes. I've put some on now as its still sore and it feels lovely.

Ggrrrr with Photobucket, I cant get the guest password up until I have seperate albums, I havnt got that many pics on the laptop so had the good idea of going on the main computer as Ive got loads on there, unfortunatly dh has been trying to speed it up lately and thought it would be ok to delete all my photos as I had saved most of them on an external hard drive, no problem I thought but I cant upload pics from the external hd,photobucket cant do it for some dumb reason. Ive tried sending the pics back to my documents and other places but they still dont work. Im now too tired to even understand what Im on about, let alone try anything else today, so I'll try again another time.

BZ I hope you're feeling more relaxed after your nightmare shopping trip, you've got more patience than I have girl ;)

im not getting notifications for this thread today :(

what i did until i could be annoyed to sit and sort through photos was create one sub album and shove everything in it iirc. then one day when i was exheedingly bored i separated everything out properly. good luck figuring it out another time sue. might be worth getting dh to put them on laptop/main computer fo ryou since he was th eone who moved them all? tbh i wouldnt be able to do that either, which is why my photos are stored online as well as on my external hd and the laptop.

bz deff mitigating circumstances. still probably best you restrained yourself though.

ibs for me gets set off at any stress or every single month without fail. i never last more than 5 mins in the bath, no matter the temp, btu when something makes my legs decide to itch it stays around for hours...unless i remember that usually magnesium helps (like it did with the restless legs) and take that.

i have managed to miss being oiut in the rain today, took car this morning to leave at garage for service, decided to carry on walking and play on swings in the park. 5 minutes after i got home it was pouring. then fetching the car this evening it was dry. went in th ekitchen and put laundry on before i sat down and by the time i sat it was pouring again.
