Sorry mate - I just can't seem to think of anything to say a lot of the time at the moment ....

I went to the cadbury factory a couple of years ago - after partaking of all the free samples (and I did confess when I bought my ticket that generally I'd rather have lindt than cadbury) I did rather put myself off dairy milk by the time I left. Oh, and it's not a good idea to go during the school holidays - hundreds of screaming kids on a massive sugar high is a bit much if you generally have a low tolerance for noise.

I'm a bit the same at the moment. When my brain's consumed on other things I'm not very chatty. It was quite difficult trying to make small talk with MIL2B this week when I'd seen her, esp when I had to wait in the waiting room with her for the scan, it was almost agonising.

I'm not usually such a Dairy Milk junky, and I daresay I'm gonna have terrible spots, but I've just craved it the last few days! I must've gone through 4 or 5 large bars, it's ridiculous! Usually one bar will do for the week...if that! I try not to venture anywhere vaguely child friendly during the holidays, I'm not that patient with the screaming!! Southport beach can even be a stretch sometimes, even though the dunes are usually very remote.

  • Overdone the dairy milk, zippy? Looks like you might be a bit hyper there. ;)

So, guess who's now going to have to take over the cooking? Should have insisted on my original choice - it would have all been cooked and eaten by now if I had.
Could've been something really complex though eh? Lol. Sorry maybe I shouldn't laugh...I'll just go hide behind the couch again shall I? ;)

    Moi? Hyper? Never!!

Plus if I was hyper I'd be worse than this ;)

And is there such a thing as overdoing Dairy Milk??

Oh, definitely. If, on the other hand, you'd questioned being able to overdo something proper like 85% cocoa, I'd be inclined to agree with you.

And guess who got back about 5 minutes before it was ready?

He's offered to take me out to dinner one night next week to make up for it. Bless him.

Gutted S/e! At least you got a tasty meal? Bless him for offering to take you out though, hope you have a lovely time :)

I agree with you that you can overdo it, that's why I take it in moderation ;) (And yes, a bar a day does count as moderation!)

Well, we got 3/4 of a tasty meal. He hadn't got as far as making the batter for the yorkies, so they didn't get made.

Tell you what, if ever I needed a reminder why I don't do roasts, I got it yesterday. By 'eck I didn't half hurt by the time it was ready.

He'll have bubble and squeak for dinner tonight!

  • Oh, less s/e. Isn't that just typical. Poor lad probably feels awful. Less so than you though I bet!
The kids in Cadbury Factory sound like my version of hell on earth.
I know you weren't bragging about your choccie - I was just teasing you.
I hope you have a restful couple of days to get over everything.

bz, I hope you aren't still overdoing it. Although, knowing you, the wardrobes are probably starting to take shape.

Am the same as you folk, when I'm not on an even keel, I don't feel much like chatting. I try to force myself as it's good for me, but that's probably when I talk most nonsense and post bad jokes *g*

I managed to clear the car of recycling yesterday, which meant I could actually put the back seats up again and |I took it through car wash. Every Seagull in the vicinity seems to target my car to pooh on and it gets tired very quickly. Flamin things.

House fairy is due this afternoon, so I may grace you with some piccies of the flat if she's able to get it looking even vaguely presentable. She's got her work cut out!
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

    :hello:Ello all.

Right - I've just spent about an hour catching up on the thread. Amazing how much can happen in 3 days.

Unity sorry to hear about the ID theft. Hope you have it sorted out by now.

Pcl please, please get the jolly old toofy-peg sorted. I left it and left it for years, and ended up having to have the whole darned lot removed.

Please can I have the passwords for the photos people have put on photobucket? I'm a nosey bat really, I especially like pics of furbabies (unsubtle hint).

BZ how's the wardrobe coming along? Can you get to Narnia through it? :D

Um.... I've lost track now; mind's gone blank.

Anyway, we had a lovely day out on Friday; three hours trundling around Stowe Gardens (poor old Mr LW didn't half ache afterwards:o) then we went to the craft fair in Central Milton Keynes.

Saturday though, I was flat on my back most of the day. What I don't understand is how sitting in a wheelchair and being pushed can use up so many of my spoons.

Sunday we just plodded on and did work around the house - got two pairs of curtains washed, dried and re-hung:j. We don't do Mothers Day, as I'm estranged from my family, and sadly Mr LW's parents are both dead.

I'm well impressed with you, BZ, I'd be terrified of having to make a roast dinner for anyone (even if I knew how to cook roast dinner:whistle:). If I'm honest, I panic if I just have to make a cup of tea for a visitor!

Hope everyone's OK today, and the peeps who were feeling achey or unwell are feeling better.
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
