p.s. Maybe we can all post some photos of pets, homes, us(?) etc following BZ's lead?
You all feel so much like good friends it would be lovely to be able to picture you and where you are properly. Although if we are all gate crashing the wedding of the Century .........I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -
Definitely sending Sharon love and good thoughts.
CwtA I shall try and rest after lunch - possibly do a bit of cross stitch and drink cups of tea.:p
I was just thinking about Sue's dog Diamond last night - you know, as you do:D and wondered how she got her name. Anything to do with that old David Bowie album, "Diamond Dogs"? Yeah, OK, the Wolf's lost the plot. LOLIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Just seeing if I can remember how to do pics on here.
EDIT: Yep. it seemed to work.
That's my beloved little Penny-Dog. Gone from me for 7 years now, but lives on in my heart. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Aaaww, Wolfie, she's luvverly!!
Why do I keep missing things?? I never saw any photo's of bz's house
Lot's of love going out to sharon. I don't really know what to say, I just hope we help her a little with our thoughts.
DS1's birthday today. I had to tell him he is going to have to wait for his present now. We can't afford to spend any money at all until we know where we stand. Never mind, there are worse things that could happen. Was going to take him down to the club my dad goes in cos they're having a do (it's an Irish club), the last time we brought him a big green cake out and the whole club sang happy birthday to him. I think he thought they were all there for him. Can't even afford to do that but we are going to go to my sisters and have a bit of a birthday tea. Got some balloons, a cake and a really oversized badge for him so I'm sure he won't feel too hard done by.
Plus his father went and bought him Guitar heroes and another game for the wii which is a lot more than I used to get as a nipper
Thanks for the kind words. I'm sure we will be fine. I don't tend to worry like OH does. I have no respect for money and what's the worst that can happen? We live in rented so it's not really "our's" to lose. We will always have a roof over our heads and food in our bellies even if it's "hostel" accomodation and food vouchers
Well that's my dear deidre over with :rotfl:
Hope everyone is well today xxxx0 -
Am having slightly stressful afternoon. Royal Mail can't give me any information online or on automated system about recorded delivery of my IB renewal forms. Takes hours to get through to their customer services line and 5 times I've had the phone put down on me!
Am now completely panicked and have spent the last hour trying to get through to the relevant department who deals with it so they can confirm they've received them.
It had been an OK day until this. I've posted your book off suep, but could only get the next one in the series. I'll pop an Amazon order together for the others soon.
Apart from the odd shopping chores, I've got nothing done today at all and, quite frankly, feel like punching someone!
Then I remember sharon and bz's aunt and it does sortta put it in perspective.
lw your Penny-dog looks a sweetie. Many years ago we had the smartest, most lovable dog ever - a lab cross called Boots. He wasa so good and well behaved. When I used to walk him off his lead, he used to go ahead (checking back in with me every so often) until we got to a crossroads where he would stop, sit down and look at me. I only had to shout "left" or "right" and he would turn and go the right way! He was a gorgeous soppy sod.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Sorry guys, I am reading and keeping up with you, but don't have a lot to say that I haven't already. Bit down in the dumps tbh.
Btw Kass, just for you, here's the link again...(for the house pics)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
sharon lovely of you to have posted. Thank you. Sounds like you have a good friend in Seaside.
I hope you can find something positive to hold onto on the real downers. I do want to wave a magic wand or say do this or that and everything will be OK but of course, life's not like that.
I'll just mention someone who I've come across who had same prognosis as you 12 years ago. It is possible.
All hugs, prayers and sunshine to you me dear. Here when you need us.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0
