  • s/e overdoing it, bless. Hope you didn't mind me letting peeps know you were OK.
This may seem like a really stoopid question, but I just started to get sun reactivity last summer. If you wear the total sun block, apart from the lack of skin reaction, does it protect you from the poorly feeling too? There are still symptoms I'm a complete novice about.

pcl, the flat is part of a building that was converted. It was actually built to house the monks at the Cathedral in days gone by. This sounds romantic, but actually means it's a very basic block built building that has no air vents and is incredibly damp. It's also a complete eyesore - so ugly. I'll take pics of outside at some point so you can see. Ugliness not helped by the fact that someone in their infinite wisdom painted it Sainsburys Orange, thus adding it to the list of man-made buildings that can be seen from space. Rent is cheap though which is why I've been here 5 years!

No, Auntie Axe, I didn't mind you telling peeps.

Fraid I've not found anything that stops the reaction apart from staying out of the sun - which is doable a lot of the time, but not all the time. And to be honest, it don't half get cold if you're sitting in the shade all the time so feeling the (natural) warmth some of the time is sort of worth feeling like absolute carp later in the day. Sometimes... [Cor, there's a nawful lot of times, somes and sometimes in that sentence. Ed. Or in other words, what bluddy awful grammer.]

Well, I don't know what to say! Came on this morning but was all blurry and couldn't concentrate so lay down and didn't wake up til 3 o'clock!!! That was from about half nine this morning!

I do remember thinking Aunti Axe had gone a bit mad and was being really random but now understand the joke! Hope you're not still feeling violent by the way :D

DS1 had a great day thanks LW. Somebody else mentioned it too so I'm sorry but still foggy

Thanks BZ, I think the problem I'm having is I can't distinguish between the blue and black writing so I'm missing the links. Nice house btw, love the bathroom light ;)

I think I had better make a mental note not to post anything but the most obvious jokes for fear that you will all come to the conclusion that I have completely lost the plot!

kass I had this problem as photobucket automatically makes folders private until you change the default setting and I can't remember how I did it, but I struggled to find the option. When am a bit more awake, I'll go back to mine and have a mosey around to find it again.

suep, the book came quickly! I always find it nice when I'm reading one book to know that when I've finished it I have another goody lined up.
If your album is shared, you can just give a link to your account and we should be able to see the photies.

bz, hugs to you. Not surprising you are all up and down at the moment. Don't forget to treat yourself nice and gently while you are so stressed.

raeh, I hope you are recovering from your drunken capers :D

Unity, I hope you had fun at Ullswotsitthingie - the weather would have been perfect for it.

lw, did your vent at RM make you feel better? Absolute beggers aren't they!

pcl, wonderful photies. I loved the statue of the cat in art deco style. Where was that?

  • kass, lovely pics! So nice to see you and your beautiful children. Can't wait to see pics of new kitt - I've never had a kitten - youngest kitts I've had were 6 months old when I got them.

Am mighty relieved here - passport just arrived!! Yay!
was so late renewing it there was a real chance of not getting it in time for the Big Trip. That'll teach me to get my butt in gear earlier in future for something so important.
