Oooh raeh he's not dragging you to see Watchman is he? You could try to persuade him he really wants to see Marley & Me so long as you bear to see a grown man cry.
Hope you have a good time whatever you see.
French windows in the bedroom sounds lovely. I used to live in a lovely old flat in a converted victorian house that had old style french windows in the bedroom with wooden shutters rather than curtains. In the hot summer, I used to leave them open at night and just close the shutters - sheer bliss.I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

Hi tenmah, I don't want you to get told off with the big pointy finger so just to let you know we are not allowed to give advice on meds etc. It's quite confusing what we can and can't say but we have to be very careful with the meds side of things.
What makes you think your daughter may have it? Have you seen your doctor and if so, what has he/she said?
It's a very long process to come to the diagnosis of Fibro as it mimicks a lot of other things. Have you looked on here www.fibromyalgia-associationuk.org or here www.ukfibromyalgia.com
I'm not quite sure where the first thread is but I shall pop off and have a look for you

Hi guys
Thanks for the comments on the shoesMight drag OH to Trafford Centre tomorrow to see if I can find them and have a gander, would be a relief to cross that particular item off the list as I've been looking for a year now!!
Now to scroll back and see what you guys have been upto...Cwta wrote:So mean to me! I'm just such a sweet and delicate ickle flower that my slight fingers skip across the keyboard with the lightest touch and miss odd characters
I think the 360, although great for graphics (particularly for an HD tele) is more for the serious gamer. I'm more of a platform game person myself...nothing too complicated or with too many controls! So lets hope the Wii works for meKitty*in*Boots wrote:I am having odd headaches at the moment and a twitchy eye, so am wearing sunnies in the house and feel very 'Hollywood, dahlink!'
I wish I could 'do' fluffy mules and a 'negligiggle'. I could swan around a la Zsa Zsa (but the reality is: fleecy turquoise leopard print jim jams and some memory foam slippers, dang it). :rotfl:
I don't wish I could do fluffy mules, that's more my mother's territory! :rotfl: I'm usually the slob in OH's oversized tshirts and trackies! I'm sure I had some nice jimjams once upon a time?
Cwta I love fresh air too, but trust me, if I left the door open at the moment I'd probably get blown away...or it'd turn into a wind tunnel in here and I'd end up being able to do piroutes (sp?) above the dining room table! :rotfl:
Unity how many goats can you buy for a guinea?Went in H Samuel's today to see how a normal straight band would look with my ring (for the nosey's among us...*cough LW*
) and it was just not right. The woman was a bit hopeless but reckoned that Ernest Jones (part of H Samuel's group) might be able to do what I want for around £200-300 so might check that out as a possibility.
Kass why would you be excited about the possibility of having Lyme's Disease? (not that I even know what it is!)saffiedale wrote:you know sumat? i too hate my head and hair mess with:mad:  rec its cuz i rememer one bad fibro day before i realy knew i had it. and the hairdresser gave me highlights wiv a cap.  my god the pain was unreal. the tears were pouring down my face and i didnt know why my head hurt sooooo muchnow im waiting for even a tug. grrrrrrrrrrr.
Don't blame you for keeping sat til the kitty's have curled up either!
Hi tenmah, I can't really expand on what Kass has already said, so I'll just say "hi" and you know where we are if you want to ask anything
I've got my little Buddy dog (the jack russel/chihuahua cross -mixed with part cat I swear!) with me tonight. Apparently he whimpers and whines whenever me and OH leave MIL2B's (awww, bless!) for about an hour so MIL2B said to take him for the night, so he's keeping me company while OH is at 2nd job.Gonna go watch Jade's Wedding now (sad I know but I'm addicted to watching all things wedding-like now!).

Because my dear zippy, Lyme disease is mostly curable. It's symptoms are much the same as Fibro except it says that menstruation irregularity and pelvic pain is a symptom of Lyme as is Diverticular Disease. I have both. They are talking about giving me a hysterectomy to cure the former and say at some stage I will have to have an operation on my bowel for the latter.
Now I am aware that it is possible to have Fibro and the other things at the same time but there was something else that made me think. I started with Fibro after the birth of my twins following a pretty bad pregnancy. Just before I fell pregnant I had given my snake to a friend as OH was petrified of her. Shortly before this I had taken her to the vet to have a tick removed. I thought it was strange that she had such a large tick as I checked her regularly cos I used to let her play out in the garden. We had a lot of contact as she was always sliding up my top to peek her head out near my neck for a cuddle or sliding down my sleeve to tickle me.
It could be possible that I was bitten by this tick without realising. And where do you get Lyme disease from? You got it....ticks!!:T
It's a possibility at least. What do you reckon?
I only heard about it today but if I have been misdiagnosed and it is Lyme then I may get better so I'm hoping I have been0
